It's not the fact that you get 10 achievements points for those encounters, its that you can say you have done them, and that it is a challenge to do them that way.
So again, before you make a thread QQing about content being easy, maybe try the hardest content in the game.

Your making me go around in circles, achievements don't matter yes, but the fight that gets you that achievement does, all the achievement is there for is for you to say yes, I have completed the hardest encounter in the game, 3D sarth for example.

How many times will this come up? Blizzard have said that the content is
meant
to be easy, so everybody can get to experience it. Then, when harder content is introduced, most people will have the gear - maybe not the skills, but at least the gear - to enter it and give it a go. Blizzard definitely don't want people getting stuck running Naxxramas and Heroics (Karazhan and Heroics) for many months, without chance to go further ahead, because the content is impossibly hard. I was a pretty damn well geared tank in TBC, but never saw T6 content, and have been on only 3 T5 raids - because my guild was not raiding, and we couldn't possibly get 25 people together. And of course, I could just PuG T6 - it didn't work.
So stop whining, and wait like all of us are - gear yourself well, and wait for Ulduar and following harder raids.

Achievment points is pointless . Whats the point of proving that you are an utter
The game as become pointless to play. in TBC , there was a challenge , now the game has become about materialistic things , like accessories , mammoths , motorcyle , its about earning money.
There is no point to do dungeons anymore , except for rep , but why do you need the rep if you can get superior items in NAX which is simple
So yeah , the game has come to an end , unless they fix it.
If thats how you really feel, quit. The rest of us are having a fine time and waiting as patiently as possible for new content. If you *don't* quit, well, you aren't backing up your position. Bye!

I really like Wrath of the Lich King dude. I don't have time to be raiding all the time, so I like how they changed raiding. GG Blizz, only have to fix the "Additional instances cannot be launched" crap hehe

Unfortunately thats from people soloing lowbie instances and taking up server slots. Dont expect a fix before 3.1, its a hardware issue mainly.

I definitely agree with this person. Screw all the people that don't necessarily have time to be super-hardcore about WoW. They shouldn't deserve to play the content just because they have jobs or families.
/sigh
I missed 70% of BC because I just didn't have the time to put in raiding. I have more time now, and I have been raiding, but beside that point, the intent of the drop in difficulty was to make the game more accessible. You can argue that hardcore content is for hardcore people, and that's fine, but what isn't fine is alienating a good part of the WoW population that isn't hardcore, and leaving them with nothing to do once they ding 80.
The idea behind the 10-man and 25-man (Heroic) raids was a good one. To be honest though, I think they flubbed it, since, with some exceptions, the 25-man, heroic versions of the encounters are actually easier than the 10-man versions.
