Finally got around to adding the pre-tBC dungeon gear section.
You actually do dungeons while leveling up? Why even put that in a leveling guide when dungeons just slow you down.
Yes I do because they're fun. If you want a guide for the fastest possible way to level, look
here
and equip some +10% exp BoA items and recruit a friend. There I just made note of that in the guide :P
Dungeons are a great way to find good loot, especially if you have quests for them. I'm not telling anyone that they have to do dungeons, but the information on dungeon loot is there anyways.
I wrote this guide for players new to the class and who wish to spec elemental while leveling. It's an enjoyable experience but I'm not here to rush them, force them to use quest helper, and make them utter noobs when they reach lvl 80 who don't know their class.

Horde Leveling Guide
Want to level fast? Recruit a friend, get some BoA items that increase the exp you get, and read up on
Jame's Horde Leveling Guide
If you guys know of a good alliance leveling guide, let me know. Thanks
Jame made an Alliance leveling guide as well.
Edit: Here it is.

Ok. Well I am playing an Enh Shammy at the moment, reading your guide was quite informative...
You asked about leveling, well I use an addon called "Tour Guide" and it has been doing great for me leveling... Just a FYI.

Good job on the sticky and the guide. Only comment I have is the one where someone was asking about why would you replace flametounge glyph.
Before level 75, you don't want to replace it. Once you get to 75-79, its an option to change it, but at the very least make sure one of your glyphs is Flame Shock. By this point you open with a LB or two, Flame Shock, and hit lava burst.. instant crit. Doing dunegeons by now, you should always have flame shock up, and hitting lava burst when its off cooldown to keep you elemental focus and oath up at all times. Once you hit 80 and have 3 glyphs... its a matter of personal preference. I plan to go Flame Shock, Lava Burst and prob Lightning Bolt.

I didn't see anything in previous posts so I'm just gonna ask. ; )...How does the macro work? XD. I tried it on my ele shaman andit doesn't work. obviously i am typing it wrong. How do you put ir word for word? :D Please help!
Could be because you don't have a certain totem that's listed in the macro. It could also be a mistake in the macro on my part but I'm looking at it and can't see anything wrong.
To create a macro (i should write this in the guide) type in "/macro" to bring up the macro interface. There are two sections. Macros for every toon you have and macros for your specific toon. Choose whatever one and click on "New" (sorry not on my gaming computer atm so I don't know the exact wording). You will be asked to give the macro a name and icon. Let's name it "Totems" and give it the question mark icon (#showtooltip will show the next totem that will be cast so the icon you pick here doesn't matter). Now with that done you can type in the macro. Just copy and paste what I have here and make any changes you need to make if you don't have a specific totem in the list. Now drag and drop the macro into one of your action bars, close your macro interface, and give it a shot. Please let me know if this helped you.
I'll update these instructions into the guide once I can get on my gaming computer to clarify what it looks like.

Added a macros section. They work! If you guys have suggestions for more ele shaman macros, please let me know :) I'm not interested in "/cast spellA; spellB" stuff
What I would like to see added is your opinion on the BoA items. There is a small variety of items to choose from and I have a slight problem in making up my mind.
Well I did some research and it turns out Lighter did my work for me :)
Thinking of Leveling an Elemental or Restoration Shaman in style?
Shoulder:
(PvE)
Mystical Pauldrons of Elements

Swift Hand of Justice
- 50

(PvE)
Discerning Eye of the Beast

Although Mail, these items will turn into Leather when mailed to a <40 Shaman.
The alt in question must be on the same realm realm as the character you will be buying the items with. They must also be on the same faction.
Added this to the guide :)

totemtimers is also a handy addon for shaman's
edit: also if you hit northend you get totem's as quest reward and those totem's function as master totem so they replace your normal totem's
example
http://www.wowhead.com/?item=37575
"Counts as an Air, Earth, Fire, and Water totem."
so it saves 4 bagslots

Just want to say ty to all the people leaving friendly comments in this guide :)
also sniper when you hit 75 you shouldnt need the FT glyph. i have 26% crit on LB/CL atm and in need of the FS glyph. just hit 76 yesterday....wow....just wow... im dying to raid on my shammy now. ran an instance with a mage and did 200k more dmg and i had to help heal the group.
I left it up to the players reading this guide to make their own decision on which glyph they want to remove when they hit lvl 75. I don't have a "there's only 1 answer" mentality. My own opinion is I'd lose the FT glyph when I got Lava Burst but that's just me.
Thanks for your input :) I'm going to have a fun time when I upgrade to WotLK and get to lvl 75 (Lava Burst) and 80 (Hex). Right now I'm just chilling as lvl 70 :D

Thanks for the guide, it looks like it will be quite useful. I have a Shaman at 64 who I have leveled as enhancement and I quit leveling because I am kind of tired of melee classes but I enjoy casters, I tried Elemental before but couldnt seem to get it down quite well. Ill give this a shot when I get home tonight, thanks agian!
