My results were 4.8 on Patch and Loatheb and 5.2 on Razuvious as 1/19/51 Survival. Topped dps on every fight except Maexxna.
BTW... Arcane isnt in my rotation. It doesnt make sense to me that it should be there, other than on LnL procs where theyre free.
Because arcane shares a cd with explosive shot you make a choice: ES or AS... Ill take Explosive Shot...
oh... and yes 3100 is garbage in a 25 man. to the guy callin us all elitests thanks! Ill wear that badge proudly.

Loatheb's going to be a really fun fight, not sure so far, but 55% crit + spores.. over 100 crit + mortal shots for all yellow dmg, thats a huge damage increase.
I know i should post this question on another thread, but dont wanna take up an entire thread for one question so...
I know hunter crit strike rating is transferred to the pet, does agility's crit chance of the hunter transfer to the pet also?
I ask this because of Savage Rend, since it needs to crit to activate its 30 second buff

My steady shots are still hitting what they were pre nerf. I am now survival having left BM. I am having more fun than before and did not see a drastic nerf. No serious blows here. I'm not #1 by default anymore because of my gigantic devilsaur that's almost as big as the boss. But I am at least #1 hunter on DPS. The key is to adapt, read, research, experiment etc etc.

Well, surprise surprise... another patch... another shafting for hunters (oh and incidentally yet another OP boosting for rogues). Well, I don't PvP anymore anyway (on account of Blizzard's ongoing a**-raping of hunters every patch)
You mean aside from the last patch, that made us almost ridiculously OP, and able to top any DPS chart?
Post patch, then! I can't tell any difference. The numbers that pop up when I crit seem to be around the same, and mobs are going down just as quickly as they were before. I think if you're measuring the damage per second you're doing to the nearest hundred, and are !@#$ed off that the numbers you're looking at now are smaller numbers than the ones you were able to look at pre-patch, you should have bigger worries than what your hunter is doing...

As for the Volley nerf... given that besides Explosive Trap it's the only other AoE a BM hunter has, its usefulness in saving my life when being zerged has now ended. I'll do a few dailies and see how it goes... a couple of the dailies sometimes bring me close to death from zerging, so those may have to be dropped from my daily rotation if I now start actually dying while doing them. Experimentation will reveal whether or not I have to change dailies.
This is funny as hell. Volley was seriously the most OP AoE in the game before this patch, and it was placed in the hands of a class Blizz obviously intended on only being a single-target dpser. 1k damage per hit, seemingly around 50% chance to crit for upwards of 2.5k. Ask any of the other AoE classes, they would KILL to be able to pwn like that.
The damage nerf was 30%, a decrease Blizz actually did correctly. My 1-1.2k hits are down to around 7-800, and crits usually cap out at 2k. If you want to use Volley for zerging, spec MM. If you're dying from dailies, you should either slow down or rethink your playing strategy. Personally, I would've taken our original Volley back if it meant we didn't get some of our other nerfs.
I agree completely. If they had left Kindred and serpent swiftness alone, removed the double readiness/BW issue, and made the Steady nerf about 1/2 of what it was, things would be decent.
The nerf to cats was harsh, though they were doing too much DPS. I am betting raptors get the nerf bat next.
