This is getting way out of hand.
roots =/= snares
In wow terminology
Snare
Root
"Slow Down"
see wut i did thur?
On this, I agree completly. It's comon knowledge.
In my first post in this thread I talked about 7 different enchants, I told the OP the good things about some enchants, why some isn't worth trying, what enchant I've got and what I would do.
Yes I am soo saying everyone else is wrong. I am telling what enchant that is the best.
soooo what was your point? We are both arguing the exact same thing with different views
My point was that you said I've only talked about 15agility, and I mentioned that I talked about 6 other enchants.
In the
end of the thread you said 15 agility is a valid enchant in some situations.
And to move away some of the unfriendlyness I am posting a comparison in witch enchants is worth getting, this time a bit more clear. But first. Read
this15 AgilityBenefits: Increase in AP, crit, dodge and a bit of armor.
It is a passive enchant therefore it benefits you in the all you're attacks where other enchants haven't yet procced.
It also is a both offencive and defencive enchant.
Downsides: None realy.
-
LifestealingBenefits: One of the few ways for a rogue to heal himself. Cheap mats.
High PPM. Both an offencive and defencive enchant.
Downsides: Low proc rate in offhand, not so high damage.
-
Icy ChillBenefits: Slowing the enemy's movment and attack speed, giving you advantages against other melee classes and hunters
(If you get the first strike on the hunter and it procs.).Good for catching up with the enemy FC. Cheap mats.
Downsides: Relatviley low proc chance, even worse in offhand. Since the kiter is still moving faster then you it wont make or brake the situation.
It doesn't boost you're damage like all the other enchants.
-
FieryBenefits: Cheap as hell to get. High PPM, okay damage.
Downsides: Doesn't scale with you're gear, low damage compared to the other enchants.
-
UnholyBenefits: Naah just kidding, no one is ever gonna put this on a weapon if it isn't for the looks.
-
CrusaderBenefits: A heal and 100ap is not to bad. Good for burst when the proc is up.
Even though I only can find downsides about this one it's still worth trying, 100ap isn't bad realy.
Downsides: Since it gives 100str and we are talking about rogues it's only 100ap, if you want a heal you'd better pick Lifestealing, but the extra ap is prety equal to 15agility, just a bit better.
Also a bad procrate.
Basicly I don't like this enchant for rogues but others might.
-
5 Weapon damage.
Good on an Assassin's Blade for Ambushing.
Not good in any other aspec but worth getting on you're Ambush weapon.
If you want a PPM enchant get it in the main hand.
Slow speed weapons with instant attacks boost you're proc rate.
Since 15agility buffs you're main hand damage to, I would always have it on the offhand weapon.
My personal preferance is to have a
Shadowfang in the mainhand with 15agility and a
good weapon in the offhand with stats and a 15agility enchant that boost you're Shadowfang's damage even more and still doing decent OH white damage.
Now if you live on the moon you could have
Shadowfang x2, Then I would concider Crusader one the main hand one.
And about them saying the Shadowfang's 2.7 speed is bad for an offhand, you are wrong, poisions and Combat Potency is why high level's chose fast offhand weapons, and that doesn't exist at 19.
(This is a common missunderception.)
Now a thing every twink should carry a stack at least of, Magic Dust, I promise, it's better then drougs. But more adicting.
This basicly puts you're target to sleep for up to 30 seconds (even in pvp).
Anti kiting or what?Basicly I hope this kills the thread, but everyone will have different opinions and YOU should try all the enchants youreself under the same conditions and get what YOU like.
EDIT: I would love other ppl's opinions to :p
