Discussing the PTR 3.0.8 Notes (Just the notes!)

I don't see a thread on this in General (without necro'ing) and there seem to have been some additions to the patch notes since the last time I looked, notably for enchanting and tailoring that weren't there before. How do we feel about the changes?
This is not a 'when is teh patch?' thread, its simply to discuss the patch notes found
here.
Here are the highlights of what I noticed that weren't there last time I looked:
A new recipe for Worg Tartare is now available for purchase with Dalaran Cooking Awards. This delicacy imbues hit rating and Stamina upon those brave enough to eat it.
Many high level enchantment recipes have had the amount of Infinite Dust and Greater Cosmic Essence requirements significantly reduced, but with Dream Shards being added to them.
Reduced the cloth required to make a Bolt of Imbued Frostweave.
Reduced the training cost for the normal Flying Carpet.
Glyph of Charge: The stun from Charge will now work properly when Charge is used with the extra range from this glyph. (woohoo finally no more charging at monsters that just walk away like I didn't do anything)
I look forward to seeing how many of these changes really make it over to the live server - and dread hearing the qq'ing about some of the others. What are some of your thoughts?
To the admins, if making this thread was bad, I'm truly sorry - I hadn't seen one on the previous 4 pages, so I hope its okay. =)

I'm not sure how I feel about reducing the amount of infinite dust and cosmic essence and replacing those with dream shards - I think this will only result in forcing enchanters to run more instances in order to get the blues that DE into the Dream Shards, and I never liked being forced into anything. We'll see how it pans out.
I hope that the Worg Tartare recipe is at least relatively difficult to make since it grants hit rating, and also since it will make Bonescale Snappers (Snapper Extreme) a junk fish if it isn't.
With priests being able to levitate other people, I bet we'll see people just randomly floating other people all day in cities... whee!

I like the Jessica Sellers being able to sell inks in Dalaran! This is make me very happy, no more having to go and buy herbs on AH to mill when making someone a glyph, I can just use the tons of Ink of the Sea I have. Yay!

Hmm. No more having to quest to get the mostly useless
Aquatic Form
for Druids. Rather torn about that - after all, that means they're not getting the 3020 XP and 800 Cenarion Circle rep any more for the chain. The rep's no big deal (they really should do something, though, to make it easier to earn enough rep with old world factions with quartermasters so that the rewards might actually be useful for you for a while when you can get them), but the XP would be missed. :)
No more GCD for Hunter abilities with 30 second cooldowns? Excellent. It might just be my own general incompetence, but it'll really make a difference for when you need to use traps close-in and have aggro on you. :)
Fire Nova Totem
no longer generates threat - but does that mean that it doesn't generate threat against the Shaman or that foes not already glued to you or someone else won't make a beeline for it to destroy it instantly like they so often do? ie, is the change 'meh' or 'woo-hoo!'?
Dammit,
Titan's Grip
is already too good - removing its only penalty is just too much.
Nothing in the profession changes excite me, 'cept for the Mining change. Wish they'd give in and add Jewelcrafting Trainers to the Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor. I mean, after all, you don't have to go to WotLK zones for the profession added there, so why should you have to for the TBC profession? The fact that this would remove most of the remaining population over level 20 of Silvermoon City and the Exodar shouldn't be a consideration...
