Where is the PvP? You need to hit up some arena's?
Impatient much?
I've been busy.. most of this week means 15 hour days for me, but I'll find time next week.

You want to be the most annoying class to kill in PvP?
Damn tootin'. I have
never
pissed off so many Hordies in WSG than since I respecced to Holy. Even though I'm only level 66 and I'm cross-geared so that I can both heal and off-tank for non-heroics, I've been topping the heal charts in BGs (even above 70 Priests) consistently.
And I've noticed that with both Holy Light and Flash of Light uninterruptible when running Concentration Aura, I can be a great decoy to draw fire. I was in WSG last night and literally pulled 5 defenders out of the flag room and just outside the base, and with bubble and self-heal I kept them occupied long enough for the Druid and Rogue that were cloaked on the balcony to snatch the flag and beat it down the tunnel. And
then
I rezzed at the graveyard in time to ride out and keep the Druid healed as he carried the flag in. ;) From that point on, it became "smear the Paladin", and I think I usually had about 7 Horde gunning for me anytime I popped onto the field...
Anyway, something a little more on-topic... I went out and bought a pure healing set that bumps me up to 800 +healing - but in doing so I've found that I take a rather drastic hit in mana (from 6600 to around 3k). My question: Do you think the massive increase in +heal is worth losing the +Int?

My question: Do you think the massive increase in +heal is worth losing the +Int?
Absolutely not.
+Healing is nowhere near as important as mana and MP5.
Healing for 1.5k with your Flashes of Light is useless when you can only do 15 of them before you're OOM.

Hey avallen, the guide is looking great so far.
quick question. While I know that PvP gear is designed specifically for PvP, is the honor reward Gladiator's salvation still a viable PvE weapon? I'm using the essence focuser at the moment, but I've started gathering my PvP gear. looking at the stats, I would believe so, but I'd like to get the expert's opinion on it. ;)
..yes, to an extent.
In my honest opinion, the Shard of the Virtuous from Maiden is better than Gladiator's Salvation. Now, if you get a chance to spring for the Vengeful Gladiator's Salvation, it's going to be better than Shard of the Virtuous.. but, as always, PvP gear is not the best for PvE gear unless you're DPS -- and even then, points are wasted in resilience and stamina.

Hello, first off want to thank you on the excellent post. Been raiding on my pally for a couple months now and have almost all kara/t4 epics. But the new badge rewards are pretty nice, I have legplates of the innocent and I'm not sure if I want to get the mail ones, or the plate ones from badges.. I'd rather not lose 7-8mp5, for 13 healing, 5 int, and 3 sc; which are basically nothing. Sure the plate ones look cooler.. but I'm just not sure. Leaning towards mail ones but they look soo ghey :( Which I'd just have to overlook, cause I'm picky with my gear and don't want to lose stats overall I want to increase them! Currently I have 1758 healing, 20.68 crit (holy) 22.68 with flash of light cause i'm wearing gladiator gloves, 200 mp5 while not casting, 103 while; all unbuffed.
Looking at your
gear
I'm assuming you're an MP5 paladin. Doing a numbers check,
High Justicar's Legplates
are a
huge
downgrade from the ones you have now. The
mail healing pants
are possibly some of the nicest around -- but I'd recommend picking up the
boots
and
bracers
first.

Trust me, you're not going to miss that little amount of crit. Sure, it's nice, but the boots from heroic tokens are the best you're going to get for an MP5 paladin for a loooong time. Socketed right, they're orgasmic. Same with the bracers. The Vindicator's set isn't worth it unless you intend to PvP/Arena, or have seriously bad blues.

So just to understand you correct, get the boots and bracers first? Even if i can get legs. What gems should i choose? 2 royal nighteyes, and what for bracer? For leg gems I'm thinking +8sc, and 2 royal nighteyes. Thanks for advice man, don't mean to be giving you a hard time lol :)
I put a +9 healing, +4int gem in the bracers. 2 Royal Nightseyes for the boots works, slap Vitality on it and you're golden.
What I notice you're doing is wishy-washing between a spell crit paladin build and an MP5 paladin build. For maximum efficiency, pick one or the other. Only having 18% crit on Flash of Light is okay if you're getting 200 mana per tick.
That being said, I'd say 2x Royal Nightseyes and one +9 healing, +4 int for the pants. As far as the order you get them, it's honestly a matter of choice and which needs the upgrade more. RatingBuster can help you out there.

Here's what I am thinking of doing towards Talents end game maybe you could add this as a pre-defined Raiding build
http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=sVxurgzhestVMuc
What it basically does is hit on the Primary Healing skills while giving you a little into the prot tree, just enough to get Kings and thats about it, also it gives you the ability to still take a few hits and adds a bit more raid survivability.
I have a spec very similar to this already up and I don't see the point in including both.
;D
Thank you for your input, though.

Hmm, thats odd I didn't see one that really was anywhere close to it. I saw one that had points in Ret more than Prot close to it. I just suggested this build because it is a Pure healadin Raiding build. Also it happens to be the very same build the best PVE Holy Paladin in the world uses.
The only difference between
The Situational Holy Paladin Build
and your proposed build is that it takes 2 points out of Toughness and 2 points out of Purifying Power and puts them in Aura Mastery and Shield Specialization.

It said omen isn't required, but if you are going to figure out who needs salv it is good to have. A good dpser isn't going to pull aggro but it hampers his dps without it.
