Hey Remx as far as off-hand swords go. Does speed make a HUGE difference?
I'm using
http://www.wowhead.com/?item=28189
right now (Latro's Shifting Sword) with a speed of 1.40 but there are other swords out there (the PvP one for example) that have better stats all-round and more dmg that are 1.50 speed. Does that .10 difference in speed make a huge difference in DPS (slightly more hits allows for more procs of Sword spec. Combat potency, and mongoose) but I could get a 1.50 that would greatly improve other aspects.. Just seeing what your or other people takes on it are... I've seen that the general opinion is Latro's is irreplaceable till the BT drop of the same speed or the shards of Azzinroth.

Off-hand speed is important, but the gladiator's, merciless gladiator's and vengeful gladiator's quickblades are all superior to latro's shifting sword.

Remx, a few questions.
In your ARprep build could you explain why you choose 3 pts in S&D rather than 1 in S&D and 2 in improved kick? Is the buffed S&D really that good in PvP or is this a hybrid PvE and PvP build?

IMO, one point in Sleight of Hand over Ghostly Strike seems very silly. Most rogues will pick up GS over Sleight of Hand.

Marathonrunner: I don't find improved kick that useful. Improved slice and dice comes in handy far more often, even in PVP.
Higure: You could trawl the forums for some older debates over ghostly strike, I've participated in a few of them. Some rogues like it, others don't. I used to, now I don't.
SBMrClean, while your math is essentially correct, the conclusions you've drawn from it aren't.
White damage makes up the majority of a raiding rogue's damage output (60%), and hit rating is the most efficient stat that increases it. The fact that hit rating doesn't affect special damage output after it caps is more than offset by the fact that the amount of crit rating it takes to achieve 1% crit is significantly larger than the amount of hit rating it takes to achieve 1% hit. The crit rating attribute itself is less efficient at improving total DPS (even after the special damage cap) than the hit rating attribute due to this difference in their conversions.

You forget to mention hit rating increases the amount of combat potency procs you get.
