I am really amazed by the laziness of people to read and their ability to suck information of their fingers, thus putting the most incredibly stupid and not in place comments and replies....
seriously man, look few posts above, on that beautifully structured, well-organized, links-including and user friendly reply I did, with an accurate and precise example of what I meant exactly by saying the words "respect" and "attitude"
now, do you still actually laugh at this?
if you are talking about the post that starts like this:
Northrend Inscription Research that has a 20 hour cooldown and 99% percent of the time teaches you Glyphs that do NOT increase your Inscription skill, like:
then yes... i still laugh because it have nothing to do with respect of players, i would say that underpricing it is more respectful as you respect that some players might not have much money and still want the glyph...

Inscription stuff cut
I understand your frustration, but its really not a lack of respect as you seem to think it is. I am a leatherworker/skinner. For a long period of time, the best things for me to level on are Icescale/Frosthide Armours, which use 2 Arctic Furs (a 1% drop while skinning in Northrend). Arctic Furs on my server run anywhere from 50g to 100g, and seem to be edging upwards as time moves on. Yet the price on the armours continues to go down, as the leatherworkers flood the market with them while leveling. Yes, it sucks. I hate that most of my leatherworking patterns cost more in materials (even if I farm them on my own, I'd make more money selling them than making anything with them) than I can get for selling the finished product, but its not because other leatherworkers don't "respect" me. It's just the nature of the market. The guy who farms all of his mats might be willing to sell his armours for 70g each to get his skills up, while the guy who has to buy his mats gets screwed.

speaking about people who do it over and over again...
the times I actually HAVE TO buy their stuff, only to re-sell it on its NORMAL price...
sure, you have to "keep your eye on the ball", especially when it comes to AH, but that's like... stupidity?
no one sells you gas on the gas station for 5 times less of its price, just because he wants to sells his stuff...
At the same time, no one buys gas at a gas station that's selling it for $40 a gallon.
Ever try to completely re-outfit a Shaman in mail from the AH when you hit 40? :P It isn't pretty.
To me, putting a buyout of 20g on a green that's really only worth 5g max is what's disrespectful - not the converse. It's in those instances - where people are obviously trying to price gouge and inflate to line their own pockets - that I go in and undercut them tremendously.
And that isn't stupid at all - it's business sense. If a store is selling a loaf of bread for $15 then the store that comes along and is willing to sell it for what it's actually
worth
(at, say, $1.50) is the smart one.
The only difference is that, because WoW is a virtual economy and people tend to have a lot of currency laying around, people can get away with charging $15 for a loaf. But that doesn't make it right - it's just an illustration of inflation in a virtual microcosm.

While I have never done a 40 man raid on the opposing faction's city (I'm Alliance); I have done some very long instances in 25 man content. And I can tell you that an agreed upon break should and will be honored by all. You need each and every member of the raid to do their job, to the best of their ability and frankly most of us in the guild I'm in are adults that also have families to tend, bathroom needs, hunger, or other, depending on the time and circumstance.
I personally would ask the raid leader to kick the ones that decided to not honor the break; or better yet...let them go on ahead and die; then kick them.
As for the AH. I price my items in line with the competition. My rule of thumb is +/- 1%. Since my main is a tailor I am constantly putting bags on the auction house. Just before WotLK, I saw netherweave bags drop down below 5g a piece on my server. I decided to just sit on the ones I had until the price went back up to normal. In that scenario; it was due to the regular supply hitting the "market" while players were busy ramping up for the new content and not buying them (i.e. no demand).
Now I sell my bags at the regular price and I'm happy again!
But I will drop my price on greens and mats if they haven't sold AND I need the gold.

That reminds me of the cooking recipes on the AH. It used to make me so mad to see recipes you can buy from the vendor for 15s being sold for 15g. I used to do my best to try and drive the average prices down to something more reasonable, but in the end I realized that it wasn't worth the effort.
