The dude that burned down a church?
That's Varg Vikerness from Burzum. Taake has nothing to do with that. I just found it funny to see him under "popular Norwegians" with such a record =p And I thought the guy was pretty shunned over there (and should be, seriously, that guy is insane).
But Taake is one of my favourite bands and the original members come from Bergen =)

Whats special about my home town is that all the radio and tv broadcasts from the Netherlands are broadcasted from the television tower here. Also, I don't know exactly, but the Japanese and Chinese people also benefit from our tower :)
Hilversum

My birthplace is supposedly named for where a medicine man dropped his hat; Medicine Hat Alberta.
Where I live currently is named after William Wallace, and a few years ago we have more teenage pregnancies per-capa then cities such as Toronto, London or Ottawa(yeah, think about that, a town with 22 thousand beating out cities with millions.....)

(yeah, think about that, a town with 22 thousand beating out cities with millions.....)Correct me if I'm wrong, I had a few drink last night, but I don't think that's what 'per capita' means.
Per capita is related to ratio. In other words, if your town has, say 22,000, and, say, 6,000 (just throwing some arbitrary figures out there) of them are teens who are pregnant or have been pregnant, then your city has a ratio of 6:22 (27%) teenage pregnancies to total number of people. If Toronto has, for example, 22,000,000 people, and 6,000,000 of them are pregnant teens, they would also have a ratio of 6:22 teen pregnancies to total number of people. And if a tiny village has a population of 220, and 70 of them are pregnant teens, then they have a ratio of 7:22 (31.8%). But just because they have more pregnancies "per head," doesn't mean that they have more pregnancies than Toronto or your town.
And thus, the population of Toronto, London and Ottowa don't really have any bearing on the number of pregnancies that your town has. All it means is that your city has more teenage pregnancies "per head" than they do. The point of your post probably was that Medicine Hat Alberta has a reputation for its irresponsible teenage girls, but the ratio has nothing to do with size, only proportion. A family of 10 that had 3 teenage mothers would have a higher rate of teenage pregnancies per capita than our Toronta example, but the family's smallness has nothing to say about it's beating Toronto.
Again, I'm not in the best condition to carefully explain it, but I'd wager you get the idea by now.
And I just totally nitpicked hardcore, but I just like to explain things I guess. Nothing against you... :P

But we were fairly 'famous' for a while because of it.

And we were still famous for the mass amount of teen pregnancies that year, beating out the 'larger' cities in the news.
