I dun't think the world will end in 2012. The Mayans just got bored of making calenders.
If you actually get into mayan myth they dont say the world will end nor do they cease to have a concept of what will happen.
What they say is going to happen is that the human race will go through changes.
its also the same time the age of aquarius changes. (i think)
So...many...retards. The world is NOT going to end. DId it end on Y2K? No. Did it end on 6/6/6? No. This sutff is just a bunch of bullcrap. The world is NOT going to end. I know the Mayans were smart and all, but a damn calendar is not going to predict Armageddon.
You exhibit the same amount of mental deficiency as you are flaming on about.
Please, research more about the Mayans.
The mayan calendar marks points in history of great change.
Much like one chap described it : gear shifts during each change on a icy road cause your car to change momentum for a short time.
We are in the last phase and it's going to be interesting during our changeover.
There is no mention of bad stuff happening. Well only if your retarded and commit suicide.

FYI:
"Earth's magnetic field occasionally develops two cracks, allowing solar wind — a stream of charged particles spewing from the sun at 1 million mph — to penetrate the Earth's upper atmosphere."
"Last summer, Themis calculated a layer of solar particles to be at least 4,000 miles thick in the outermost part of the Earth's magnetosphere, the largest tear of the protective shield found so far."
"Scientists initially believed the greatest solar breach occurs when the Earth's and sun's magnetic fields are pointed in opposite directions. But data from Themis found the opposite to be true. Twenty times more solar wind passed into the Earth's protective shield when the magnetic fields were aligned."
..."the Earth's and the sun's magnetic fields will be in sync at the cycle's peak, expected in 2012, that will cause an influx of solar particles."
Themis scientist Marit Oieroset of the University of California, Berkeley.
----->...May cause interference to your WoW signal. So, yes lookout for 2012.

No, WoW will definitely NOT die, even if everything else on the planet will.
Roaches, having survived the nuclear apocalypse and evolved into intelligent thought, discover the wondrous world of MMOs.
Edit -- Can't say *!@#roaches on Wowhead.

This
is a humorous and interesting article on Cracked.com that explains the "doomsday" theories and why they are retarded. Reading it should put an end to the debate of whether or not the world will end on Dec. 12th, 2012.
I'm pretty sure we all know nothing is going to happen, however contemplating the possibilities does kill time at work.
