While there are some nice ideas, I think too much of what happens in Icecrown hinges on what route Metzen takes on the Ashbringer's origin.
Considering the Scourge were originally part of the Legion (and certainly were at the time of the Ashbringer's forging) there's a good chance the Naaru are involved in more than just an observatory capacity (see Brindenbad).
Eitrigg could well make an appearence somewhere in the events surrounding his downfall, as could Matthias Lehrner.
The one thing I would say is more or less certain, Arthas WILL NOT be redeemed.]
EDIT:
We are also yet to see what becomes of the Blue Dragonflight (possibly Tyragosa and/or Kalecgos will take over the remnants), nor the effects of a fortress made out of an old-god's blood.

It's going to be just like the Kael fight. We'll have some minibosses to fight in phase 1, possibly before engaging LK himself for various "hard mode" stuff. LK will no doubt have some scourge adds at various points in the fight. I'd bet he'll have some kind of Archimonde-style "soul charge" thing whenever someone dies. Maybe he'll bring back anyone who dies as a death knight. At a certain point Frostmourne will become a dancing weapon, you'll probably have to OT it but not kill it, or you'll have to kill it before LK dies or it one-shots the raid. There will also be 1 (one, and only one) "new thing" in the fight that blizzard will pat itself on the back for, since it will be actually new and not just a bunch of recycled crap. It might genuinely be interesting/clever, but odds are it'll just be annoying.
Also, the OP is so painfully cliche it hurts. It's not "epic" or "thrilling" or anything but rehashed tripe, which means that it's very likely the bliz copies it word for word.

Great idea but it sadly wont happen, theres a quest in icecrown
Tirion's Gambit
were we kill all that is good in Arthas, I do however expect people like Jaina, Sylvanus, Tirion and the Darion to show up. I would like at the end the spirits of all the people that Frostmourne took the souls to all appear at the end and go to the home of spirit healers.
This could also be the excuse that we killed Nur'zuls spirit and now frostmourne is just a really strong sword not being connected to Ner'zul.

I thought I remembered Blizz saying they had
originally
talked about allowing Frostmourne to drop but only one at a time per server, turning that character into a free-for-all PvP and <The Lich King> as a title with the item switching owners as the users were killed, but decided against it because:
A) It would have to be overpowered and unwieldy
B) They didn't like the idea of seeing a gnome warrior as "Lolwtfpwned <The Lich King>"
