I'm missing about 5 talent points at 80, if you have extras would you mind giving me some?

I'd recommend 2/2 Divine Guardian and 5/5 BoK for you smiley.
Coz Imp Devo Aura suxxorz with a resto drood in your raid.

BoK seems like a waste of 5 points. it might come in handy in 5 and 10-mans if their is more than 1 pally and they're not specced for BoK.

Indeed.
But if you're going for threat you can still use the 28 hit from the WotLK chain.

So, me being new to a paladin (Level 45 prot spec) and taking a gander at all the talent trees posted here.
I see that a prot tree, most of it is pretty strait forward, most things are definitely a must, but there are a few talents that are really just pure personal preference, not really better one way or the other?
