Just take all the rogue stuff :P
I'm still QQing about loosing my assissnation shoulders (dungeon set 3 for rogues, with rogue ability set bonuses) to a feral druid. I don't know if it's just me, but I do not get why he would want something with rogue set bonuses - keep in mind, he had more than one piece.

Personally I love playing druids. Mine is almost 41 now and she's been feral all the way. It seems to me to be one of the easiest to lvl because of the gear and the damage done in kitty. Feral faerie fire also helps a great deal along with thick hide and a lot of the other talents in the tree which focus on your dps kitty and tanking bear forms. The points in thick hide have saved me in combat and leader of the pack points are something other players like to have in a raid group. The gear thing is also correct - there's a lot of great gear out there for you, however, keep in mind you will be competing with the other dps classes in raid groups. Your healing wastes a lot of mana but it's helpful while soloing which I've done with the big majority of my quests and had smaller groups in instances at times. I spent all of my groups of scarlet monastery as a feral healer which was rather odd but it can still be done if necessary. Our guild leader is actually a balance druid and is awesome going thru Kharazan. I do plan on going resto at 68 because it is a spec people ask for a lot more, but it isn't fun to lvl up with at all. Feral is the way to go :) you can always respec yourself if you don't like it.

I don't know about the rest of the set, but thanks to the agility and sockets on the Assassination Shoulders, they are the BEST pre-raid tanking shoulders for a Feral Druid.

I'm currently leveling a Feral Druid, and I'd suggest Feral for three reasons:
1. You can easily switch between DPS for soloing and Tanking for instances, meaning you have an easier time, in my experience, of finding a group.
2. At lower levels (21-30) Feral Swiftness is awsome to have, since you can travel faster.
3. There is less downtime with Feral. Just grind until you are low on health, shift out, heal, shift back in.
Of course, what you do at L70 is a different story. Personally, I'll proabably stick with Feral 'cause I've come to like tanking.

The fastest lvling spec for Droods is a feral cat spec which can be found on sites such as

What I ended up using before I respecced to healbot. Almost the same as previously suggested, just with natural shapeshifter instead of primal tenacity.
(PS. May I suggest that you take INV_Misc_Food_63 as your avatar, Chickensoup?)

Untrue! Even before patch 1.8, levelling as Resto to sixty only took... lemme see... 4 months playing mostly duo with a warrior. I think I had about 19 days /played at the end. Then again, nowadays you can do it in around 8-9 with a decent spec and frequent gear updates.
When levelling, dps is the biggest factor, and everything that increases your movement speed and decreases damage taken is useful, since it also cuts down on your downtime. I'd use something like this:

(1/46/14)
I'd go down Feral first all the way to Mangle, mainly because the talents stack nicely, even tho Naturalist in Resto is a pretty huge boost. That's mostly a solo'ing build btw, although you could tank in it but it's kinda average for healing.
