Good thread, i'd just suggest as one of your PvP Glyphs that the Glyph of Howl of Terror would be a definate consideration if you are specced Affliction.
Also, the best PvP build i've experienced so far has been this

I dont know why under destro you dont have 0/30/40 +1 but im very happy with this build and has out performed many during heroics and 10 mans excluding naxx.
http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=IZcxczsgMV0zZVcuVr0uVMA
Primarily because:
without Improved Drain Soul your imp will OOM in boss fights
without Empowered Imp you don't get more crit from having the imp out
master conjour is not a great DPS boost
Please keep in mind for raiding only performance on boss fights count.
Also keep in mind that comparing your DPS to others does not tell you if you could do more DPS.
Give the Unholy/Imp build a try

Look under PvP spec for affliction and you will see that GoHT is listed
I think you may have too many points in demo. FD/MS adn Demonic Aegis specifically. That is 6 more points for affliction. You will want Shadow Embrace maxed out when killing healers.
Deaths Embrace is good for finishing especially combined with top rank
Drain Soul's
4x multiplier
Eradication can cut up to .3s off your fear/UA/haunt casts so it can be very good in PvP
Rest of your build is pretty strong

Updated Affliction PvE(Instance) builds. I had Amp Curse instead of iLT, probably from pasting in wrong link. Anyway it has been fixed

is working out pretty nicely for a lot of people.

If you run the numbers you'll find that devastation outperforms metabomb in a raid sitaution. Peronsonally i prefer meta, but thats beside the point - I think you should def include a 0/50/21 spec in you demo section.

I'm not recommending those FG/Ember raiding builds currently:
No iDemonic Tactic drops FG DPS significantly. More importantly keeps him from scaling with your crit gear
3/5 DK cuts you leaves 4% crit for you and you pet
No Demonic Resilience cuts pet life expectancy and to a degree your. DR reduce damage suffered through SL as well.
Missing Conflg/Backdraft in destro cuts out some of the synergy within destro that makes the new fire system effective
Basically any FG build needs to look something like:
http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=IZ0gIzsg0qcsgu
- iHF can be moved to iHS or MC.
A lock using a FG loses too much DPS when the FG dies to skip survivability talents. This makes going more than 22points into any other tree less effective.
But hey demo is a very slim tree compared to say affliction where any reasonable build takes 51pts. Not sure what destro's min talent point break point, somewhere in the -45-51 range I think
P.S. for PvE skip iSearing Pain

Specs
The 4x damage of max rank Drain Soul for the last 25% far outperforms SB.
Raiders are seeing Drain Soul tick for 6k+.
could you explain this phrase about Drain Soul?
If I think good, I should use drain soul max rank e.g in instances when mob have less than 25% to max my dps?
Sure:
Drain Soul
if you use it when the mob is under 25% health the damage is quadrupled. This is done after all other damage bonuses are applied.
Oh and I'm now hearing of 10k ticks from Drain Soul :)
So yes, use it at the end of boss fights to hammer them into the ground. Just keep up all your affliction dots so that the 60% bonus from Soul Siphon is included as well.

ok, thanks for explain me.
btw. it is good to ever use (if I have full hp) Soul Siphon in boss fight?
If he is under 25%, yes. Drain Soul is a freight train these days.
Or where you asking about Siphon Life? Yes use SL, it does add some DPS(more than immolate for an afflock) and takes the edge off any healing you might need. And when it is time to rip the bosses soul out with DS it increases that damage

Okay, my first post ever on this forum I guess. I've been reading and using wowhead a lot, though I haven't found a reason to registrate until recently. You have interesting opinions and I would like to ask you what you think of my current hybrid PVE build (which deals more damage than any warlock I've played with in any raid - period):
http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=IZfxczsxRV0sxZVcuqd0uVo
1st - it is not whether you did more DPS than every other player you have seen, it is whether you can do more DPS
Since I'm going with Imp and raid a lot
You boost his DPS but do not pick up mana feed in demo or Improved Soul Leech in destro. Unless your raid is bringing a lot of mana regen buffs, your Imp will OOM in boss fights becoming dead weight, (rendering 4 talent points and 1 glyph useless)
DS. For boss encounters when I know my imp is going to die (Keristrazsa and other bosses that makes my imp pay for not being very mobile). Sacrifice him and gain something out of it at least. 10% fire damage which of course is my main course.
DS is not bad except that you are going 40 points into demo. Once you sac him 13(16%) of your talent points and 1 glyph are useless.
Master Conjuror, here I am a little uncertain though and would love your opinion - is it worth the 2 points for 0.3% more crit? Or should I really put my points in Master Summoner instead?
The DPS lost for dead pet is greater than the DPS gain from master conjuror.
Also a tricky one I think. I wan't Shadowburn for instant damage (love it) and of course 5/5 in Ruin. Now, Intensity, DP and Reach split amongst 4 points. What would you prefer? I played with no reach and 2/2 on Intensity + DP before (since I figured I would always need to dot up with Corruption anyway) but I eventually stole one point from the imp to greater my range. Would love your opinion here.
Grim Reach, it is one of those talents that is just good. It is easily better than Intensity in PvE and since your imp will oom better than dark pact
Conflagrate. Just for the heck of it. As I said earlier - I love instant damage and I love when it all goes my way and I crit Incinerate for 6.5k, crit Conflagrate afterwards to consume Immolate for 3.3k and then hit my shift+F (SF) key binding for ShadowFlame and crit it for the same amount of damage. POWPOWPOW, you know. Love it.
Without Backdraft, conflagrate is too expensive it east up immolate and triggers a GCD
Would appreciate any comments, good or bad and thank you for taking your time.
This build will probably do great on trash, sadly trash doesn't drop epics. On longer fights it does not have the endurance. If you enjoy this spec play it.
You might try this variant of Unholy/Imp:

PS. One more thing, about Backlash. Physical attack only?
Yes

1)I have NEVER had my imp run out of mana in fights
That is possible, if there are enough raid mana regen buffs going. If you KNOW you will ALWAYS have those buffs you don't need Improved Soul Leech. While build specs should be aware of raid compositions it goes both ways, taking this talent makes you compatible with more raid compositions. It sounds like you do a lot of runs with your guild which gives you the opportunity to know that you can skip this talent.
2)If someone wanted Emp. Imp then take the 1 point out of DK and put it there. Hence the 30/40 +1. Even with raid-wide crit buffs the imps crit isnt all that high in the first place. Plus to get the most out of it you'd have to be casting incin during the proc and I've had plenty immos get the buff.
With raid wide buffs the imp's crit gets to about 23%-24%. The average benefit to the lock is 5% crit to all spells. And the Imp gets 15% more damage.
3)It doesnt matter if its a "great" dps boost, it matters that there aren't any other dps boosts going down to MD.
True but you could pick up iHS instead
Anything else? Cause It seems like a viable raid build to me. Switching a few points for whatever fits a persons style. Simple cast rotation even, like fg/ruin.
As far as unholy/imp I dont see it being better. unholy/imp would trade in conflag/backdraft for 5% crit/fire dmg. I dont buy it. I know a little while ago conflag was still a dps loss unless perfectly used without latecy, and boss fights arent like that anymore. Patchwork? Fine, I will agree to that but the dps gain wouldnt be a lot better. If thats changed then great, but it couldnt have changed that much.
Trading 5% crit/ fire dmg, for having to incorporate conflag doesnt seem worth it to me.
After it is all said in done, if you like the 0/30/40 for simplicity go with a modified DS build like this:
http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=IZbxczsxoZqchqr0uVcAbox
it will play almost the same have at least the same damage and no pet death liability
And I don't like DS builds but they will work better than 0/30/40 builds
