It's nice how they renamed the Thunder Bluff elder "Elder Ezra Wheathoof"

Well... since this thread's back alive.
Rest in peace, Ezra
Looks like his character is still alive and going, however. His dad is probably playing on it.

As an alliance guy I will say one thing
Hail to Erza, the great Hunter of the Horde!
I know some where, in a better place, he sits at a computer, hunter us alliance as we try to run from his mount!

RIP Ezra. I remember reading about this when the NPC was placed into the game, I make sure to do it on every single character I have Horde side.

Nooo! Dammit D=
Well he definitely has a place in heaven that's for sure. He was very good at what he did and was an icon to many.
RIP 4ever, E!

Um.. Ezra passed on awhile ago. I think it was a few months. In fact, your post excluded, the last reply in this thread was in November.
I smell.. thread necromancy.
No necromancy, I play on EU servers and only became aware of Ezra, and the surrounding events yesterday, whilst doing part of the Lunar Festival events.
I will say as a grown man it touched me very deeply, and moved me to tears.
In no way do I wish to dishonor this thread.

It is not a sad story, but rather an epic (or dare I say legendary, pun intended) true-to-life story which has moved many a hearts. Shed no tears for Ezra, lest those for joy, for he is in a better place than he could have ever been before.

I watched the "Run for Ezra" clip on YT, all before I started playing WoW. Very choking to see a young person lose their life this way and very heart warming to see gamers rally around and celebrate his life in different ways.

I knew about Ezra for a long time but I completely missed this thread. Better late than never.
R.I.P. Ezra. Your quest is the best quest in Mulgore and the only thing that makes questing in Mulgore worth while.
So true.
It was awesome to see that dog dance.
