Can you please add this to the FAQ?
Blessing of Might Vs. Blessing of Kings
Which blessing is better for a ret paladin? The simple answer is
Blessing of Might
. Blessing of Might will give you more attack power than
Blessing of Kings
about 95% of the time. This is of course assuming that we are comparing both fully speced (
Improved Blessing Might
and
Improved Blessing of Kings
). In wich cases BoM will give you 687.5 attack power and BoK will give you 10% more of each of your states.
There is however a certain situation in which you will gain more attack from from Blessing of Kings than from Blessing of Might. If your character has a total stregth value of 3438 or higher you will gain more attack power from Blessing of Kings than Blessing of Might. This is much easier to do with
Divine Strength
speced.*
(3438 Strength) x (10% bonus from BoK) = (343.8 more strength)
(343.8 strength) x (2 attack power per point of strength) = (687.6 attack power)
* It is a common belief that Divine Strength makes each point of strength give you 2.3 attack power and not the normal 2. This is both correct and incorrect. For example, if you have a weapon with 100 strength on it, you WOULD gain 230 attack power from it, but that is only because Divine strength gave you 15% more strength when you equiped it, thus effectively making the weapon give you 115 strength instead of the 100.
I'd love to get some other stuff off my chest, but all that math tired me out. please feel free to check my math, I think I got it all right.

Refused on count of bias.
There's no mention of pros of BoK, and there are some.
I don't think anyone ever questioned which blessing gave more AP.
point taken, editing underway...

On the other hand BoK gives you several benefits that BoM does not. Including a larger mana pool, slightly higher crit and a fair chunk of health. Because BoK works equally well among all the classes of WOW it is standard issue for a Raiding Retribution Paladin to invest 5 talent points into getting the full 10% BoK to improve their overall raid group. Do you use BoK on yourself as a Ret Paladin? It's a personaly choice, most of the time you will be giving up some attack power, but you will gain health, mana, and crit chance.
How is that? if there is still anything out of place I'd be happy to continue to try to work out the wrinkles.

Sounds good, I put in the information about Divine Strength because like I said, most paladins go by the rule of thumb that 1 strength = 2.3 attack power. I just wanted to clear that up for anyone checking my math.
Also, I hope I wasent annoying you or wasting your time with this, I just wanted to crunch the numbers and have a post to refer people to when I see the man "BoM vs. BoK" threads that pop up.

Once you have 51 points in holy, just start placing the rest in Retribution so you can get the crit talents.
Pally tanks should use whatever judgment he needs, or the group needs. There is no correct answer there, as it is group-specific.
For the seal, he should be using Seal of Righteousness until the higher level holy damage seals become available to you (Corruption, etc).

I have some issues/concerns with your choose of PvE(raid) and PvP(arena) glyph chooses. I wanted some clarifaction/input about why you choose some of the glyphs you did.
you recommend:
PvE Raid
Recommended Major Glyphs
Glyph of Consecration
Glyph of Crusader Strike
Glyph of Judgement
Other Useful Glyphs
Glyph of Seal of Blood
Glyph of Seal of Command
PvP Arena
Recommended Major Glyphs
Glyph of Consecration
Glyph of Hammer of Justice
Glyph of Turn Evil
Lets start with PvE(Raid):
I don't really understand why you choose
Glyph of Crusader Strike
over
Glyph of Seal of Blood
, would the 20% reduced mana of
Crusader Strike
really be better than getting mana back from
Seal of Blood
. (this is especially a concern with the lose of
Spiritual Attunement
) I understand why you choose the other two but I'm having a hard time wrapping my head around this choose.
Moving on to PvP(Arena):
Almost all of these chooses seem a little odd to me so instead of commenting on all of them I'll post my chooses for recommended glyphs.
PvP Arena (my personal chooses)
Glyph of Judgement
Glyph of Seal of Command
or
Glyph of Seal of Blood
(depending on how much ret PvP has changed since last season)
Glyph of Turn Evil
or
Glyph of Hammer of Justice
(I understand how useful both of these are but I just don't see why you wouldn't want to get more burst in pvp in favor of CC)
thanks for your time and anyone else that has input on this I please post as well.
