First time after 3.0 patch using Blizzard with my frost mage in ZA... And having my screen COMPLETELY filled with 1000+ yellow damage that I couldn't even see what was going on. I can now believe that mages are going to be AOE Kings...

It always makes me lol when I'm in AB at Lumber Mill and I'm low on health and being chased by a warrior or something and I pop slow fall and jump off the cliff, only to look back and see that he chased after me off the cliff and fell to his death :D

My most evil,
undead
mage moment was ages ago, before TBC...
A gnome rogue was following me around booty bay sapping me over and over - eventually the talent didn't proc, and he came out of stealth when sapping me. He ran into the water and when sap broke I followed him. I polymorphed him, and he sank to the bottom of the water. So, I proceeded to keep him underwater with polymorphs, slows and frost nova etc. Eventually he drowned (and I as undead was sitll on 2/3 breath) and he knew not to mess with me again.
That was awesome.

Just a few days ago, right after the patch and our new Blizzarding goodness.
I went to the top of BT to see just how good FoF, Imp Blizzard, and Frostbite was working together. Landed at the bottom of the BE side, threw up an Ice Barrier and a Mana Shield, epic land mount, and started running through the mobs, gathering them up. Got to the top of the hill with about 40 mobs following me, Nova'd, blinked back down, truned and dropped a Blizzard. At first i was just amazed that it was putting out that much damage, then i looked at the mob i had targeted and found ti to be a Gnome Rogue at about 20% moving the opposite way of the mobs comming towards me.
I would have to assume that i cought him at low health, and that he was trying to hide. I watched 35-40 Killing blows and 1 HK scroll up my screen right after seeing about 60-65 1k+ blizzard crits.
True AOE Kings.

My "Mage Moment" was getting my 5000 kill achievement whilst Feather Falling from Lumber Mill to the Blacksmith in Arathi Basin thanks to a PoM Pyro hit as I was coming into range, followed up by a Fireblast.
It was one of those moments that I wish to god I'd been able to save!

this gets my vote for the best so far.
my mage moment: i'm not the biggest pvp guy, but i've been improving my gear recently. i have a notoriously arrogant friend who plays a ret paladin and usually mocks me for not being as good at pvp as he is. so, yesterday, after trying out the new arcane, i challenged him to a duel. for a few minutes he was telling me it would be a waste of his time, etc., etc., and so finally he submitted 'just to get it over with.' i crushed him. absolutely crushed him. maybe he was being complacent, but he was so *!@#ed off that he left vent and passive aggressively QQ'd the rest of the day.
i second that.. its must have been so funny at that time for a rouge to just drown
