WotLK: The death of Tankadins

With the recent buff to all the other classes in regards of AoE tanking, Paladins still didn't get the buff they deserve to their Main Tanking / Single-Target Tanking skills.
Currently, Paladins are underpowered compared to Warriors/Druids/DKs as tanks.
Our mitigation is still the lowest, our avoidance too. Every single tanking class can do the job better than us, so, the only reason to bring a tankadin to a raid in wotlk is because there's nobody else available. And that sucks!
What do you think about it?

Hmmmm. If you're going to make links to blue posts, maybe you should read what the blue poster is actually saying?
To reiterate, we're not that crazy about trying to strongly reinforce niches or special abilities for fear that those lead to certain tanks being more desired than others. That design strategy probably works okay for dps and healing roles, because you tend to have more of them and they tend to be slightly more interchangable from raid to raid. For better or worse, groups tend to stick with their main tank.
Translation: all tanks need to be able to handle all situations. Druids still need their AoE threat buffed even with the recent changes. Giving up our massive advantage in AoE tanking is a necessary part of balance. We can legitimately expect to be given the tools we need in return, as it has been repeatedly stated that the goal is to have all four tanking classes be effective.
I've posted this a couple of times, but the last time I looked a the numbers, paladin and warrior health were within 2% of each other and armor was within 1% of each other. Warriors had slightly higher avoidance, while paladins had higher block value. Damage reduction was about the same.
Of course, things could have changed since we last looked at the numbers. But if those relationships stand, it's going to come down to things like mana vs. rage starvation,
proc talents, the effect of buffs and similar effects.
Note the bolded section. It is one area that I believe Blizzard needs to look at, as other tanks benefit far more from having tankadins around than vice versa, which is a problem for Paladin MTs in a raid environment. Even so, this post was nearly two weeks ago, long before they started making numbers passes.
Yes. There are mitigation issues and concerns.
Yes. Blizzard is aware of them.
No. Mitigation numbers are not finalized.
No. Talent trees and new skills are not finalized.
Yes. We are still in beta.

Ummm, Death Knights don't rely on Corpse Explosion for AoE tanking...
Death and Decay
Unholy Blight
Hungering Cold
Pestilence
Wandering Plague

Hmmm didn't know DK's had so many skills / talents that did AOE dmg... thats just a tad depressing.
End of the day tho I'll still play a tankadin even if we have to go back to being the underdogs. We won our love once and we will just have to do it again.
The one thing I do like about this tank balancing thing they are doing is it will really highlight the good tanks from the crap tanks as that and gear is going to be the only differences.

Just read the post about Blocking and it is slighty biased.
The point of the discussion in each of those topics is boss tanking rather than trash tanking, so in that sense, yes.
It does have one mistake, however - our WotLK tanking Libram actually offers a 352 BV proc. The other is the placeholder text from the Mother Shahraz Libram.

Divine Protection drops your aggro to the lowest stand, which is useless in a tanking situation unless:
This is incorrect. Divine Protection has been altered in WotLK to act as our version of Shield Wall. You no longer drop threat and gain 50% DR.
