Her is my level 80 tanking build.
http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=0ZxGGscbzceRcczAobAczb
I took the master shapeshifter talent for the extra 4% damage over the alternative King of the jungle and primal precision I was comptemplating.
Here is my reasoning:
When you first look at master shapeshifter it seems like a lot of points to spend for only a 4% increase in damage. Compared to King of the Jungle, if I am understanding the description properly, it gives you a 15% damage bonus while enrage is active. Enrage has a 1min cooldown and is active for 10 sec. So, essentially you are getting a 2.5% constant damage increase and having to constantly hit the button every 60 sec.
Master shapeshifter on the other hand provides a constant 4% damage increase and no need to hit a button. IMO for Cat fighting and soloing/pvp the burst damage from King of the Jungle is better but for extended encounters such as boss fights Master shapeshifter seems the better choice to me.

Ok. looking at it like that we have:
Master Shapeshifter 5 talents points (inc. natural Shapeshifter) = 4% damage increase
versus
KotJ 3 talent points = average of 2.5% damage increase
With
Primal Precison 2 talent points = 5% damage increase
net total for both = 7.5%
MS v's KotJ + PP = KotJ +PP giving nearly double MS benefit
But it's not that simple. You lose armor with enrage. Fine sometimes, but not always. Enrage isn't full time benefit, MSS is. The question is whether 4% total damage (and 5 talent points) all the time is better than 15% damage and 16% armor loss for 10 seconds ever 60 seconds... (for 3 talent points)... and that's only if you are casting enrage every cooldown.
Then throw on top of that whether you will be going cat, further complicating things if you are lacking on crit, vs the energy gain of KotJ.
I don't thinks very clear cut, yet.
Edit: ps- why aren't you adding PP in your above calculations to MSS? Not following you on that... shouldn't it be:
MSS +
PP
Versus
KotJ +
PP
There's no reason that you can't have PP in both builds.

Yes there is, you kinda need the regular shafeshifter to get the master one, so that's 5 points. The person who Parrazel answered to had left out PP for that purpose.
PP + KotJ = 5 points
NS + MSS = 5 points
What would you drop in favor of the long debated MSSs little nuisance friend NS?
Besides you could think that while MSS is constant, it also affects while you don't need it, where as KotJ can be used when most needed
Who doesn't want a constant 4% damage increase?
However even assuming you have enough expertise to remove parry from the combat table, which is what most people call the 'expertise cap' the boss can still dodge, the cap for which is substantially higher. So while you can be parry-expertise capped you wont be dodge-expertise capped.
Well I was looking at the stats on some of the lv 80 gear and it looks like a lot of it has expertise built in so if you hit the hard cap (both dodge and parry) then PP loses its effectiveness since the other bonus is for Cat. We will have to wait and see how this plays out gear wise....
I created an alternative build that sacrifices Feral Charge and Survival instincts for PP in conjunction with MSS. It seems no matter what you do you will have to sacrificing something. I guess it all comes down to personal preference. /shrug

I like the concept of survival Instincts but so far havent found much use for it. Feral charge I do use but I don't see it as a must have talent. Bosses are immune to its stun anyway. So, I usually only use it to pick up a stray mob on the healer occasionally and almost never use it during boss fights.

The armour loss to Enrage is negligible. It will cause incoming damage to increase no greater than 3%.
Hmm, except that it would be 3% from each source of melee attack at you.
