when i made my main an undead, the first thing i thought of was Kenny from South Park and how he always died and was back next episode, hence the name "kennyisback"

Aumecia
My site name sort of comes from my ADD...back before browsers had these handy little things called tabs ( ;-P), you needed separate windows open to browse multiple pages at a time, and...I usually had far more open than was practical. One day, I looked down at my taskbar, and the tabs for the windows were so squashed that only one letter of each page title showed. Then I realized:
"Hey, that part at the beginning almost looks like it could be a word!
A, U, M, E, C, I, A, N... Aumecian? Nah.... Take the n away... Aumecia? Hey, I LIKE it!"
And it's been one of my regularly used names every since.
As for my characters...
My main was originally named Niori (which I came up with randomly), and resided on Alexstrasza realm. However, one of my friends and I found the atmosphere on that realm to be rather poisonous, so we both moved our characters over to Feathermoon...where "Niori" was already taken. So, after spending almost two hours trying various names and having them all be taken, I started to get frustrated and started putting in random crud (like average names, not strings of random letters), just for the hell of it. Finally, I put in the first name of my Anthropology teacher, Lavanya. Given that it IS a real name, I didn't expect it to go through...it did. Fortunately, I can't say I was disappointed, as I like both the teacher and the name. :-)
My other characters since then have all been real names with relatively obscure origins (I particularly like Basque names...a lot of them sound great and have good meanings, and they're hardly ever taken!)

Animer
With my friends I'm the one who had most experience in wow so I would always give them advise on talents, healing, gold scheming, instances and raids ( especially BC raids ). So when I started to play wow again this year I chose Animer since they always said that I'm there leader in wow and that the way I talk they want to play wow. Did some research and I liked the name animer and it sounds a bit elfish, or to me it does :D so animer stuck and It's my main toon now, a feral/boomkin NE druid
Animer is french for
Definition: to lead, conduct; drive, impel, encourage; liven up
Before that my name was always hunter. My friend and I played counterstrike allot and kinda owned when we played together so we wanted to get matching names. Since we both where command & conquer fans at the time he was seeker since he sniped more than me and I was hunter because I "hunted" people like a crazy loon(its from the hunterseeker thing that runs around looking for tanks to destroy) . Stopped playing CS a long time ago and felt it was time for a change.
