It really confuses me why people always list Ramparts as one of the easier heroics. I suppose it would be very simple if your tank is overgeared for heroics (which, nowadays is pretty common I suppose), but it has some incredibly hard-hitting mobs compared to some other Heroics.

Ive done Heroic Ramps with a Kara Geared Tank and Healer. No wipes.
lol!
THIS is why Ramps should not be on the 'easy heroics' list. It's Normals>Easy Heroics>Then Kara>Harder Heroics...
If you have a kara geared tank and heals of course it should be easy, but tanks and healers come with purple's pre-equipped right?
The mobs do hit pretty hard but that isn't really what fouls up this instance, the pulls are odd, lots of casters, plus the hard hitters. I'd put Blood Furnace on the 'easier' list before Ramps myself, with the exception of the last boss it's much much easier than ramps (I exception on last boss simply due to the coordination/timing that can be difficult to pull off after a longish 'learner' run that would be done by people shooting for the easier ones)

Ramps is not a hard Heroic, and you definitely don't need Kara gear.
There are the "super easy" heroics, like Mech, UB, SP. And then there are the "easy" heroics, like SV, bot, ramps, bf. After those, I'd say the other heroics it's pretty helpful to have Kara gear. But those 7 I listed are all easy enough to do without Kara gear.

The best healers I've met, haven't used HealBot, so I just think you got into a group of morons. Addons sometimes makes the life easier, but some can do the same or even better without.
Thats true, i hate healbot...i love using clique and grid.
lol@healbot.

You don't need a shovel to dig, you can always use your hands.
Just thoguht i would add this in :
Look at using clique instead. easier to configure & is useful to dps people to.
