So I'm known as a warrior, but what most people don't know is that I actually started off as a druid. A few weeks ago, I started playing my old L60 druid again & have turned from Balance to Feral.
With all this leveling, and now new abilities, one has to figure out just how exactly one can manage going from caster, to kitten, to a ferocious bear without getting a few gray hairs. I'm interested in learning just how different druids are now in comparison to the state of things at the original game's release.
Got a hot macro? How about an awesome trick?
Post them here & share them for everyone!

I'll start us off...
One thing I've discovered I like is the ability to combine keys for the cat form bar. Unless you have a mod which does this, there's no "stealth bar," which I found extremely annoying.
Ravage & Shred 2-in-1
#showtooltip
/cast Shred; Ravage
Turns the hotkey to Ravage when Prowling & Shred when not Prowling.

this one is for faerie fire in cat bear or NE forms. #showtooltip Faerie Fire; Faerie Fire (Feral)()
/cast Faerie Fire (Feral)(); Faerie Fire()
This one is a self buff one button all three buffs, but wont need omen in there in Wrath since omen will be passive
#showtooltip Omen of Clarity
/castsequence reset=20/combat Omen of Clarity, Mark of the Wild, Thorns

I like the Whisper macro to the person being res'd, good idea! The powershifting macro is also really great.
Shapeshift & Dash
/cast Cat Form; Dash
First press shapeshifts to Cat Form. Second press uses Dash. Good for catching up to, or running away from, an enemy.

@Ignis86: Why not just use:
#showtooltip
/cast Faerie Fire (Feral)(); Faerie Fire
What's the difference between the two?
Also, here's a simple, yet tasty Feral Charge macro, since you don't have one for bear form!
Bear Form & Charge
/cast Dire Bear Form; Feral Charge
Shifts one into Dire Bear Form on the first push. Second push uses Feral Charge.

One thing I think is pretty key to good Druid keybindings is to put all your heals
outside
of your shapeshift/paging bar to take advantage of autoUnshift. That way, no matter what form you're in, you can press the heal and it'll just shift out and start casting it. I think the instinctual thing is to put them on the caster bar unless you consider the above.
All of my healing spells are macro'd like this:
#showtooltip
/cast <spell_name>
The latter part should be automatic, but sometimes the game's own self-targeting feature is not as absolute as I like; so, the macro is: precedence to a friendly, alive mouseover, then to any friendly, alive target, then always me if not those two.

dead
and other such conditionals imply
exists
.
If you run out of space on your paging bar, there are a few abilities that are form-exclusive. I have one button to cast Maim and Lacerate depending on form. It's similar to the Mangle macro posted in another nearby thread.
An all-purpose traveling macro is indeed a must-have as it consolidates 3 forms into one button that are situationally exclusive or precedent.
The obvious focus macros for various things are certainly not Druid specific.
I have whisper macros for Rebirth and Innervate that are similar to the one above, except they also consider focus as precedent to target and post to /ra, /w <target> and my guild-specific Druid channel.
I'll have to check for anything I've missed when I get home. Cheers to you for unearthing your Druid. It's such a fun class to play if you really spend the time to get to know it and learn to use it to its fullest.

I actually have a full heal bar right above my normal heals when I'm resto. The reason being, it unsnares, and is a very good thing to be casting whenever possible when in pvp. This is what makes the resto druid so annoying to kill. Rejuve, bear, (snare) LB, (snare)bear/travel, (snare) swiftmend, rejuve, (snare)bear..... and so on. =) I think rogues and warriors rather hate me some times(switching directions on every shift makes for good fun too). Oh, and if it's up, cast your NG while in bear form so you use the gcd while your armor is up since you aren't casting a heal.

Amen. autoUnshift made it so much easier to play Druid effectively.
