Lol...I loved reading the mage changes. I agree with that guy 100%. I was going to go arcane to level, but eff that now. What good is it if the spell i was going to use in a group of 4 now has a mana use so high?
I have to agree though...frost mages get so incredibly buffed and us arcane mages are left in the dust.
I also love that new alchemist stone. 50 haste at the cost of 4 spelldamage? OK!

I'm totally not excited to play more than half my characters in the expansion. Blizzard managed to slam the already suffering moonkin with another two nerfs and one "meh" change, and no buff at all.
The whole fact that moonkins will be able to root indoors, means that they'll be considered a CC class, which will make them desirible for 5man pve content.
So its not like moonkins have nothing to look forward to.
I don't have a warrior and I don't want one, but it sux they removed heroic leap - which seemed like a great and unique skill - and replaced it with something that looks completely crap by comparison. So you remove snares affecting you, alright. But now your intercept is on cooldown, wtf? Talk about damned if you do, damned if you don't! What a joke of an ability.
It removes the cooldown on intercept, it does not share it. Its like cold-snap for mages. It allows warriors to hit that and then intercept.
The reason they removed Heroic Leap was simply because warriors were getting into places they shouldn't and getting stuck. Considering the past issues of warriors intercepting through the world to their death, it doesn't entirely surprise me.
The new talent does suck in comparasion, but heroic leap isn't going to be implementable anytime before the expansion if i had to guess, if ever. I wouldn't be surprised if warriors get a more interesting talent then its current replacement.
I don't get it. Why this constant killing of all the fun stuff? Aren't we supposed to get stronger and better? We'll get to be friggin level
80
now, we're not babies anymore. Why can't they let us feel a bit epic for a change and let us have some weirdo cool abilities. Noo, gotta take it away again. Lich King will sell 15 million copies regardless, easy money for us, Blizzard says. Lap up our s*** that we give to you to eat, mindless sheeple. *sigh*
You clearly have no idea how much effort goes into balancing the classes around pve and pvp.
Fun talents/skills have problems of not being useful in pvp, or pve, or the reverse, in being too powerful.
Then you have to see if it interferes with other classes.
For example, Will of the Forsaken was considered a fun spell at release, however it trivilazed the pvp defenses of alliance warlocks and priests making them easy kills to melee classes. Fun but unbalanced.
So were shadow-melding hunters casting stealthed aimed-shots. Or mages with invisibility casting unstoppable pyroblasts.
Fun abilities can often be terribly unbalanced or just plain problematic in some aspect of the game. And given blizzards track record, you should be giving them the benefit of the doubt, they have done a wonderful job with game balance. Although not perfect, considering how many classes there are, how they work with pve and pvp constrains, and how they aim to keep skills simple, yet allowing diversity, i'm continually left impressed.
I can't help feeling that Blizzard is losing track of that people want to feel cool and powerful, and that the game is supposed to be FUN while playing it. It seems to me they rather want things to be easy for THEM. (Ok. Irritated rant over now. :P)
The only way to feel cool and powerful is by fighting trivialized content or players. I don't find trivialized content fun otherwise i would run instances 20 levels or more below me, and the players/classes that are trivialized by any improvements you would like would take issue (see WotF).
Long rant simplified:
Quit bitching about stuff you don't fully understand, and give Blizzard the benefit of the doubt, they deserve it.

Why did they make the Druid less good at Restoration? Now the spells cost more and heal less :(

ok ill say exactly wat i want to say and i dont care if u take down this post or punish my account. blizzard %^&*ing screwed over resto shammans, pre wtlk we had a hard time, and EVERY SINGLE one of us looked forward to the sick spell we all knw but now cant use, spirit link, some annoying $%^&er in blizzard decided "o lets make shammans like druids and give them a HoT!" but ya know wat, we WANTED to be special! we WANTED to have a spell that wud need a new abriviation. and most importantly we WANTED an easier time, even if it was for only 3 weeks before they nerfed spirit link down to like 10% spread or 5% spread. But no, those stupid ppl over at blizzard playing there OP rouges, pallys, and druids decided to keep us out of the running, AGAIN! so ill ask nicely once, PLZ GIVE US SPIRIT LINK BACK!
Are you for realsies?
