I pre-ordered a copy on amazon the day before Wowhead announced the release date :P I just paid an extra $9 to get the fastest delivery option, and it's supposed to arrive on the 17th (those are going to be 4 long days). So are you going to line up outside the store for hours to get it the first day, or are you being lazy like me and wait for someone to bring it to your doorstep?

As much as I
hate
shelling my money over to Gamestop, I think I may have to if I want to get it on the 13th without heading to a store where there's a 90% chance that they sold my game already, even if I reserved.. =(

Question about the Collector's Edition:
If I order LK now (since there is only one product option), will I get the regular one? If so, how can I get the Collector's, and is it available for pre-order?

I reserved my copy awhile ago. I'll just pick it up on the 13th on my way back from college.
If the Burning Crusade's release was any indication it's extremely improbable that everywhere will be sold out on release date. Retailers around where I live just happen to be smart enough to order far more copies then they expect to sell on release date.

I purchased the regular WotLK on Monday, then find out on Tuesday, the CE was available for pre-order that day. I went back to GameStop, had the money I put down on the regular xferd to the CE.
GameStop normally has the midnight release for ultra popular games. Hell, I got my TBC from them on a midnight release.
Screw ordering from the websites of the stores... why pay for shipping when you can just go get it?

Or just order it from the website for in-store pick-up.

Amazon will have it to you on the release date, especially if you order overnight delivery. The delivery date there is just an 'estimate'.
