Ardent defender isn't completely necessary in most cases, esp with Divine Protection being our shield wall now.

Why wouldn't you get Seals of the Pure?

I am not one of the beta players, excuse me if im being silly.
some points here:
1. I will be disappointed to see a tankadin with no KING, NO WAY! :-P. BoSan is good so King or BoSan on different situations
2. Seals of the Pure OR Reckoning OR iJudgements. All helps with single target threat but im more on Reckoning since as an aoe tank it is very likely to proc every pull, and adding varities to urself such as SoW with mana regen. could take 2 points from iJudegments to max Reckoning.
3. strongly doubt Judgements of the Just will work on raid bosses. Skip it :P
4. Not sure how much we need Strength as a tank (grrrr if that's the case we need all stat as a tank, BS &#$%). May withdraw these points to other after trying.
Judgements of the just is meant for use against raid bosses, and all wotlk tanking gear has lots of + strength. Each point of strength increases block value by .5 and just about all of our damage scales with ap + sp.

Fair enough.
I can scrap conviction, and 2 points out of reckoning, to make room for it then. But I won't roll with that untill lvl 80 when I decide I want to begin raiding, I think.
And I know reckoning isn't really favored for raids due to the whole parry issue, but I honestly can't find anything better to put the points in (maybe 3/5 BoK?)
I'm thinking that reckoning is important in woltk.
In TBC it's not because paladins don't do much damage on hit. Most of the damage is done by spells, so hitting only gives the boss a chance to parry and hit you faster.
But in WOLTK it sounds like paladins will do decent damage by weapon, at least it sounds like that to me. And since damage = threat, it makes sense to get reckoning. The fear of parry and faster hit isn't that important, as warriors deal with it all the time, they hit fast spamming devastate, so it isn't a big deal.

Reckoning will still get worse as your gear gets better. Every time you increase your dodge or parry you will decrease the effectiveness of Reckoning.
Anticipation should read "5% chance to dodge and 5% less chance for Reckoning to proc HAHAHHA - Blizz"
