If you find yourself needing the extra range for various encounters, drop 2 from Totemic Focus and throw them into Storm Reach. I've not seen any of the new encounters, so I just left it out for now, though I can't see it being
too
much of a requirement.
Also, 1/3 Eye of the Storm is just a placeholder to get to higher tiers. That can be moved to something else without a problem.
Anyways, for PvE that is the build I'll be using. (Assuming nothing major changes, of course...)

I think I'm going to modify it a bit and make it to
this
. The spell-pushback resistance would prove useful in fights with the form of Reliquary of Souls.
Also, with the introduction of 5 minute totems, lowering the mana cost of them isn't that important anymore. Astral Shift is just for <3 really. Storms Reach is always great, although you still have to be within 35 to get that optimal Flame Shock-cycle going. Not too bad though.

Unless they up the range on LvB, Storms Reach is no worth to an ele sham imo
I´d do something more like

if u are at 30 yards or more u will need more threat to pull
The threat required to pull any mob off a tank while in melee range of the target is 110%. Anything outside melee range requires 130%, regardless of whether you're 10 yards or 500 yards out.
The only purpose of Storm's Reach in PvE is for a wider AoE (Thunderstorm) on mobs that are spread out, or to potentially avoid a mob's own AoE that is limited to a radius of <35 yards.
Not only that, but as Calda said it currently isn't affecting Lava Burst, thus you would have to run to 30 yards for a normal spell rotation, regardless of your bonus on Lightning Bolt and Chain Lightning.

I plan to use something like this, Although I'm trying to find a way to get Lava Flows into the build.

Reverberation is hardly worth it, as you're going to rely on the cooldown of Lava Burst (8 seconds) anyway. Also, with 5 minute totems, I doubt Totemic Focus would be worth it.
You should aim for Elemental Weapons instead, and should without problems have points for Lava Flows - oh, and Call of Flame. In the end, those will prove to be much better talents, as Lava Burst is going to get a really essential form of your spellcycle.

Interesting build everyone. I'm going along the lines of
http://wotlk.wowhead.com/?talent=hEI0q0dxtMxst0xxco
for now.
I still have 4 points I'm not sure really where to put. Any info for those points.
Edit: I was thinking about putting them in Totemic Focus, but as someone stated above most totems are now 5 min long. So I don;t see the need to put them there anymore.
