Well I've read that Kalgan or some1 said on the wow-eu forums that they had given the release date to some stores,sites etc. So it is possible that when u see a release date on some game site, it may be true ^^

Remember that the actual business day for Blizzard hasn't started for them so they can't really comment on your responses. The blue post was from your local Admin stating that it was a "legetimate advertisement from Blizzard".
If you still don't believe the date is official or not, then wait until the next morning where it's business as usual for Blizzard.

I would like to disagree with this date you have posted for the following reasons.
1. Everyone knows All new Movies/Games are released on Tuesdays not Thursdays.
2. Newegg.com as assured me that they date of 11-5-08 is the right date. This will back the nummber 1 reason i have posted and makes it on tuesday.

You'll have to forgive us, we've all been given a broken heart by release dates in the past. I think we're looking for something more tangible.
I've searched worldofwarcraft.com, the wotlk webpage within worldofwarcraft.com and blizzard.com. I don't see anything official anywhere. Is this something physical you got, like a poster or flyer? Or is it somewhere on the web?

pretending
to be from blizzard contacted them and gave them that nifty artwork along with a fake release date! And Wowhead, never having _ever_ worked with Blizzard for ANY promotion every before couldn't tell the difference!
