Do any Mac users read the best page in the universe?
I would like to link an article, but I guess it's not allowed simply because he doesn't censor his text. The main message is something like
"One thing PC users can do that Mac users can't: Shut up!"
I'm sorry if I'm offending anyone here, but it's true. I see threads like these way to often on forums, and I visit a lot of forums. ;p
Anyway, have fun playing on your Macs!

Coming from an IT perspective (Yes, PCs!) I would say Macs are fine. They are great for home computing, gaming, and any type of music/art.
Your boss can't be happy with you if you don't even know that DX > OpenGL for gaming.
i'm sorry but does your k-12 school district allow gaming in class?
and you do realize this is WoW... system requirements are outrageous AMIRITE?
but seriously DX games run fine in parallels if you have the need.
i personally don't run DX10 at the moment as I'm not a vista fan and the XP version is in alpha as an idependent project

The only complication is that some for addons you can just drag the unzipped folder to your Addons folder.
No ALL addons must be un-packed/un-zipped from the archive file you download.
WoW does not have a compressed-folder handler for addons
I think my graphics look better than on my friends' new pcs
This would be due to the screen itself, and possibly a placeabo affect your transferring onto wow due to the way Qaurtz renders the window manager(the window borders) and the controlset(the buttons, sliders tick boxes).
If I were to get my self a nice macintosh monitor and hook it up to my dual core nvidia8800gt linux machine that is running compiz, then I too would also have a sexy looking setup compared to the plebian windows machine(vista or otherwise)...in fact if you disregard that its a pc box, you probably wouldnt be able to tell the difference between mac and linux now(the way i have it set up).
