It would if it's an insult.
If the companies making millions I would expect them to pay a decent amount to some of the voices that have made the game what it is. Imagine if Thrall was voiced by a 10 year old girl.

The question is wether he asked for a simple "decent" amount or wether he also tried to milk Blizzard since WotLK is a garanteed success. No point in trashing either one of both sides unless we know what the proposed sum was (and what the going rate is).

They might have made a reasonnable offer and he wanted more. Or the email might present things truely. "Embarrassingly low" could be with regards to market price (and even then Blizzard and him might not agree on the qualification of the job which would in turn impact the going rate, making the offer reasonnable from one side and low from the other) or with regards to his expectations.
I don't know and honestly don't care, but there's no point in flaming either Blizzard (for not paying people well) or the voice-actor (for wanting to exploit WoW's success) since we don't know. I was justing posting that to avoid overreactions on whatever side.
