Blessing of Light was removed along with Judgement of the Crusader.
On the patch notes, it said the effects of both spells were folded into all other relevant abilties.
Does that mean, ie. if you bless with kings, will that target get +10% extra to all stats and your flash of light/holy light will heal for significantly more?
As long as a blessing is on a target, will it gain the effects of blessing of light?
When you judge with any of the 3 new judgement spells, will it increasase holy damage done to them by 400 (or however much it was)
Those are the only 2 questions I really need to be answered, and ty!

I believe what that means is both healing and holy damage have been increased overall so that neither BoL nor JotCr are necessary. For instance, rank 11 Holy Light has gone from
this
to
this
; Rank 5 Holy Shock :
old
-
new
; etc.
Thanodius has it right, it means that all spells now cause more healing / damage equal to the bonuses you used to get for BoL or JotC.
JotW followup:
having run one dungeon (nexus) with two ret paladins I note that JoW is now the Judgement of choice and even with it and BoW they had to drink more than I did as the tank. The nerf is not cripling but it IS hurting ret dps

That brings up a good question that I would also like to ask.
On a scale of 0 to 10, 0 being the easiest and 10 being the hardest, how would you rate the level 71+ instances?
0 would be regular level 70 instances or heroic mech, 3 would be like norm/heroic MgT, 5 would be like heroic SL... and so on

How much retri pallys do dmg?Is Retribution Aura good? How is our AoE(Ret pallys)?
Those are my questions for now:)

Ooh another question, does the effects of Divine Guardian stack?
ex. if you have 4 paladins who are specced in Divine Guardian and pop Divine Shield at the same time, will you be mitigating 120% of the damage from the raid?

how viable is it to tank the normal 5 mans as ret while levelling?
Blizz is working on it, with the full 90% RF threat buff as baseline it is definitly doable with a good healer but with many people (myself among them) resolved to go and level by instance tanking you probably won't have to.
On a scale of 0 to 10, 0 being the easiest and 10 being the hardest, how would you rate the level 71+ instances?
counting Utgarde Keep as a level 69-71 i have to say it is 0 if not -1.
The Nexus is the next one and is much more intuative, 2/3 i think, especially the first time =P.
I haven't gotten to run any others because the next two level wise are bugged atm >< i'll update as and when. I expect them to slowly progress reaching 5 at around lvl 75 instances then rising more steaply from there.
How much retri pallys do dmg?Is Retribution Aura good? How is our AoE(Ret pallys)? AoE wise we are doing decent damage (In the same league as a warrior can) but you won't get called on to specifically AoE very much. Retribution Aura in it's new form is a beautiful thing, increased base damage and scaling make me happy.
Ooh another question, does the effects of Divine Guardian stack?
ex. if you have 4 paladins who are specced in Divine Guardian and pop Divine Shield at the same time, will you be mitigating 120% of the damage from the raid?
I can tell your going to keep asking me things =). As far as I know (disclaimer, this next answer is not 100% certain!) it DOES stack but not the way you discribe. I belive it stacks so the first mitigates 30% then the second mitigates 30% of the remaining 70% and so on.
so with four you mitigate (30 -> 51 -> 65.7 -> 75.99) 75.99% of the damage but remember that hand of sacrifice, in it's new form, stacks in aswell therefore effectively doubling this (or halving the required number of paladins).
As a Paladin, are they doing their job well in Wotlk (PvP)?
What about PvE, can they finally get a spot in end game raid as DPS?
Well we are the fastest class to level. More seriously, Paladins in PvP (Note: PvP is not my thing so i'm not so authrative on these matters) are currently still performing well with high burst damage and big, fairly frequent, crits we are still very much a powerful player in PvP. Holy is also very strong in PvP, far more so that it is on live with changes to talents and holy shock causing insane new combos and tricks to be viable across various specs.
For PvE dps it is hard to answer as there are no raid or endgame but for 5 mans the retridin is still very disireable even though mana is now an issue again.
Thanks for all your interesting questions!

Can ret paladins use Divine Plea? If so is it interupted when taking damage? Can you use Divine Plea when you are bubled?
How effective is Seal of Righteousness or how much damage per swing?
As far as dps goes what judgements seals and auras would you recomend?

I read your post on tanking gear, and would like to followup/clarify a bit - since STR is going to be big business, would it benefit me to be rolling on STR/STA plate now and collecting a set for when the Wrath changes go in (as opposed to just sticking with the normal pally tank gear that has little to no Strength)?

Hmm great answers.
I see JotW has been nerfed, and retri without this will be shattered as mana will be a problem (as stated).
Do you know if there is any future ideas to bring it back?
Is it possible to manage the mana and still hit hard enough?
Thanks.
Well the field is divided as to how deep the mana issues go now. IMO retribution, if it were released now, would be better than it is on live. However not enough to compare with other classes who have expirenced stella improvements to all aspects. It all comes down to Solo DPS vs Grp Utility; the old one was crazy for the former and the new is better for the latter. I think a fix or a revert is needed (and i have fix ideas) and I am hopeful it will happen because:
we are not the only one's offended and in the new Retridin-Shadow Priest Allience we can appeal to Blizz and get this either reverted (with toned down numbers) or reinvented (again).
But we shall see I guess /shrug.
mana management is doable with JoW, BoW always up and SoW, Pot and Divine Plea* for emergencies but it does hurt your DPS to use those but i can't say how much.
*Divine Plea is a baseline spell learned at level 71. It is channeled and may be interupted and pushed back. It can be used while bubbled.

This is interesting. My
opinion
is that it is not
necessary
to do it per se, let me explain. STR is so good because it will add to SBV, white damage
and our abilities
. However our abilities still scale with SP as they always have. What you have I assume is a nice collection of gear that has SP, avoidence and Stam which in Wrath will be even more SP efficient and work a treat with the new BoS. This set will see you a long way into wrath to a place where the stam and str on gear is crazy.
IF you can get hold of warrior gear of T4 or better quality without gimping your play expirence untill wrath (IE spending BoJ on warr gear not pala gear is bad if you still need the pala gear) you should try and get a set together as it will give you an edge in the new world of tanking. Look for high stam, str and def mainly with avoidence on the side.
Either way is good my friend and that is a beautiful thing!
No more questions tonight, College is a long day.

btw, I'm still going to stick with spell damage weapons so I don't have to switch weapons while healing :P

I don't know how I missed this one originally...
anyway, this is true but it has nothing to do with JotC and BoL being removed it is to do with the change to spellpower.

Fair be. I carry round the two sets anyway on live so it makes no odds really to me but I must note that in T4ish healing gear i can heal perfectly well as Prot through nexus
This is in regards to a spec. Does reckoning proc when you use crusader strike?
nope. CS can proc seals though in case you didn't know already.
