Haven't seen it mentioned..but if you use fear on a target or mob.. you can use bandages to heal yourself in a middle of a fight as long as you don't attack any targets and one of them isn't immune. I created a macro just for this..intimidating shout/stop attack/bandages.
On the subject of the amount of heal..if level 70's could heal total life with bandages, the PvP fights would take forever and PVE would be a breeze..neither one a desired result..could you imagine how long the BG's would take to finish.
As it is now..I have a level 39 that can use heavy netherweave bandages which at that level is almost and instant heal. I don't even bother to buy food anymore.
In my opinion..they should do away with healing potions and bandages all together..I have enough stuff to carry in my bags..Blizz should rework Spirit to be active in combat restoring health per second comparative to the amount we have. Make it a passive build up per level and augmented with gear specced with spirit. Keep food the no-combat health restore.

Bandages are not supposed to be super healing items, but instead just enough help to keep you out of near-to-death-status and keep you from being oneshotted by a mob or a rogue in hiding.
the Dense Frostweave Bandage is an excellent item, because 4800 hp over 4 seconds is quite alot of hp in such a short time, and it would help me to get out of near-to-death-status really quickly and help me drain my life back up again.
And by the way, I hate all the wining from the warlocks "ohhh soon-to-be-nerfed-lock". I'm a warlock myself, and I love all the changes that are made to the class. It's going to be the most awesome changes that I have ever experienced, and I have been a raiding lock since 2005.

I think bandages work fine really, except for the simple fact they should remove bleed effects. You won't hear me complain about how much a bandage heals, it is the easiest proffession in the game to level, and netherweave cloth is the most abundant cloth in game.
A bandage stopping a bleed effect makes sense, so I see no reason why I shouldn't be able to fit 73 2-handed weapons in my backpack. Did I mention I stuffed my black war kitten in there too? Right next to my 4th shield and my prot set.
Do I detect a slight bit of sarcasm? If you want to get into why you can fit 30 2 handed weapons as well as a bear and kodo in your bag, then you'll have to remember that the world of warcraft is full of all kinds of strange magic, one form of magic being the ability to carry a bag that can hold a warehouse full of stuff. Actually that arguement further supports my claim, if they can make a bag to hold a large truck full of stuff then why doesn't their badages stop bleeds, the exact thing bandages are meant to do in the first place?

I haven't seen it mentioned, but since the bandage is a channel spell, when you have a bleed or DoT of any kind, the bandage can end prematurely. This can be annoying, especially when you get finished with a fight, and look to see that the trusty hunk of bread is greyed out because of the DoT on you. And you have low health. If you try and bandage, as soon as the DoT ticks, you break bandaging.
So, we need to have a none breakable cast or something to keep our bandages form being worthless.

Make bandages heal a % of your total hp, 40/50/60% over 8-10seconds, that way it would scale with class.
