My main question is this,
This Polearm
along with the rest of the arena polearms, seems way too fast for me.
so i ask, what class is it good for? besides the stats being somewhat viable for hunters, does any classs benefit from it's 2.2 speed?
Same goes for
This Axe
. the only class that can use OH axes are shamans and warriors, which need 2 slow weps... right?

Both items can be used by hunters, and both have viable stats for hunters. Though it is possible there are better choices for them, but those items are at least far from terrible.

right, but i was asking if any other class uses them for anything other than stats.

The polearm is intended for ret paladins.
I'm not sure what gives you that idea, I wouldn't really call the Painsaw a paladin weapon at all.
Seal of Command
is on a procs-per-minute system (unlike, say,
Windfury
), giving slower weapons a higher proc chance--and
Crusader Strike
is an instant attack that does weapon damage, making it more suitable for slow weapons as well. Combine this with the fact that a paladin gets 2.2 ap for each strength point (thanks to
Divine Strength
), and overall the
Greatsword
looks like a much better option than the
Painsaw
.
Admittedly,
Seal of Blood
eclipses Seal of Command in terms of DPS, but there are still occasions I find myself using Seal of Command just to keep from having to stop and heal so often--and in either case, Crusader Strike and the strength > ap issue both eclipse the Painsaw for me.
A shame, since I think the Painsaw has one of the coolest
weapon models
in the game.

Shame it's neither fast for a 1 hander or even a 1 hander at all for that matter, eh?
Ahem, the second weapon linked is actually an offhand weapon...
