Quit now, don't come back. You would be making a great choice for yourself, your family, and your friends. The only reason I haven't quit is because admittedly I'm pathetically addicted to this game.

Choose life. Choose a job. Choose a career. Choose a family. Choose a ing big television. Choose washing machines, cars, compact disc players, and electrical tin openers. Choose good health, low cholesterol and dental insurance. Choose fixed-interest mortgage repayments. Choose a starter home. Choose your friends. Choose leisure wear and matching luggage. Choose a three piece suit on hire purchase in a range of ing fabrics. Choose DIY and wondering who you are on a Sunday morning. Choose sitting on that couch watching mind-numbing sprit-crushing game shows, stuffing ing junk food into your mouth. Choose rotting away at the end of it all, pishing your last in a miserable home, nothing more than an embarrassment to the selfish, ed-up brats you have spawned to replace yourself. Choose your future. Choose life.
But why would I want to do a thing like that?
I chose not to choose life: I chose something else. And the reasons? There are no reasons. Who need reasons when you've got
heroin
WoW
?
Awesome copypasta. ;) I prefer the original regarding sysadmins though!
On topic, as some previous posters have said if you are not having fun, then stop playing. It is not a job, nothing is tying (tieing?) you to the game other than your own will.

This isn't a QQ thread, I'm just thinking about quitting until the expansion comes, from my point of view any effort I put in will just be wasted because the expansion is so near, a game store in my town said that it will be released on october the 10th.
What can I do in the mean time? I'm levelling a rogue atm but what do you think I could do that would be productive, and fun.why do you have to make a big deal out this? if you're going to leave, then do just that; LEAVE. what makes you think everyone cares?..This,

, Adashiel. Along with Nefarion, Ivokk, Malgayne, Skyfire, Miyari, for overall consistently coming up with some of the most insightful, interesting, ingenious, articulate comments and opinions on this most instrumentally useful database, ever since I discovered and spent many dozen hours lurking on it in late '06.
This is indeed the state of this callous reality, this physical universe we were all born in, which too many, in silly mainstream media-hystericized ignorance, like to call 'Real Life'. How would you know it's indeed real ? What makes something 'real', how would any definition of the word not be a merely subjective one tainted by the vast imperfections of human perception ? *,.,*
Today at last, heralds my first appearance on this notoriously epic site. Thank you all for "halpin meh fint innar lizard".
Meh. Hope I didn't sound too emotional. .. ;Panyone can just as easily say that they've been lurking since 2006. you're trying too hard to make a good first impression

What I have been doing is making as much as gold as I can, I actually just reached 375 herb, and I love to pick flowers. So I've been doing that and getting cash to start me out in WOTLK. I am also leveling a priest to heal. <3 priests but I am a mage, haha..

Erm, the original:
Epic Trainspotting quote is truly Epic.
Back before Ewan McGregor was playing clones and doing Alec Guinness impressions.

Last I heard, it was coming out in November, and anoobia says the 3rd. But remember, Blizzard has a history of pushing back dates. Personally I'd be shocked if they got it out in early December to make Christmas, I'm looking for a late Jan/early Feb release.

Level some alts
Make some gold
Murder some Azeroth instances
Get S3/4 in pvp
Farm some rare patterns
See what you can solo (whole of deadmines / rfc @ once?)
Level up professions
Goof about with mates / Help mates out
Prep items for a deathknight (if you're making one)
Explore
Try multiboxing
some of the stuff i've attempted to keep interested, what makes the game fun to you?
