Did the healer cast 2 overheals on the tank? I'm not exactly sure what happened there, and I don't really want to believe he actually did that.
That was truely terrible... You can sort the good healers from the bad healers on overhealing.. And what he did there was the archtype of a noob healer knowing NOTHING of mana conservation..
lol who cares if its an over heal? i overheal like 50% in raids (resto shammy), as long as no ones dies, im happy. and besides its a heroic, not a normal instance, i constantly spam a low rank heal just to catch any spike damage even if its an over heal.
...and if everyone did that the healers would prolly run out of mana, and you would wipe. n1

Look at you Internet White Knights defending them as if they're going to be your buddy. They're bad players, they probably know they're bad players. They don't care, they don't need you to defend them from mean comments on the internet.

Better to overheal than risk a tank death.
As someone traditionally critical of Project Lore, the overhealing comments are pushing it a little. The API's health updating mechanisms are *extremely* laggy, often failing to report damage for .3 seconds or more - well within the range of where healers often stopcast to avoid overhealing. In a fight like Thespia where spikes can be annoyingly commonplace and mana conservation is not a huge issue, there's no real reason to worry too much about overheal. It's not a fight that's going to last until your mana bar is dry, and nobody really cares about your overhealing as long as people are alive.

True dat.. It's terrible that these guys are thinking they're actually teaching people about this game.. When they're complete noobs themselves, and quite often tend to do instances the wrong way. The only reason they survive this stuff is due to their quite good gear.. Furthermore they have a terrible lack of knowledge of the game and state stuff like ie: healers need addons for healing etc.. I rly can't see what all the fuzz about em is.. And overhealing is #$%^.
