Not necessarily.
Even melee classes benefit by not losing line of sight with their enemy so they can get back in melee range, a warrior cant intercept, a pally cant repentance, and most healers cant heal their pals if they lose los. I'd like to see one barren map as well, you wouldnt know whether you were going to wind up in a 'normal' LoS heavy map or the flat map and it would provide a greater range of strats depending.

No. If you feel this is an issue, go address it with the classes. Removing the environmental obstacles from PvP will make arenas the dullest thing in the world. Nobody wants a flat-terrain killing spree.
I play a resto shaman in 2's with 7 points in enhance for instant ghostwolf but not deep enough for the snare reduction. With nature's swiftness and a vial of the sunwell i have TWO instant heals, take away my pillar humping and i will /wrists and go back to my ms war and make ppl cry in said naked arenas. I enjoy being able to use terrain and on the other side of that coin like i said i also have an MS warrior, who is a Gnome....soooo a few factors don't bother me too much :P even though entangling roots is resisted almost EVERY time i try to use it *shrug* still saves a trinket use when it works. Anyways back on topic, the dynamic terrain sounds GREAT and after practice you can learn to handle almost any makeup in 2's even though yeah, some tend to trump others :P Drain teams are the bane of my two's with an ms warrior but we don't ALWAYS lose.
