.......but Blizzard doesn't care about that, as they have proven in the past, and thank god for that. TBC was delayed because they wanted to polish it before it hit the shelves. The ability for a company to not rush products, is an ability that will make them make more money, than if they were rushing it.

Nov. 5th is a wednesday.
Dec. 5th is a friday.
Actually most games ship on a Monday and sell on Tuesday. That's why most of the actual stores, ie Best Buy /Gamestop /EB-Games are listing the dates as Nov 4th cause it's a Tuesday.

November does seem more logical since it will give everyone more time to purchase the game for the holidays.
Nov. 5th is a wednesday.
Dec. 5th is a friday. You decide which of these you think is a more logical launch date for a computer game; I say friday as opposed to wednesday...but hey, that's just me. :P
You say wrong. Maybe if it was a movie it would be released on friday.....
Certain products get released on certain days of the week (usually). That's just how it is. CD albums are Tuesdays, Movies are Fridays (though half of the big ones are Thursday or even Wednesday now), etc....
Video Games happen to be Tuesdays as well.
Honestly I don't thind the 5th of EITHER makes much sense, November 5th is early as hell, and December 5th is too late for the holidays. The middle of November makes more sense to me.
Also, yes it doesn't take that long for the average geek to shop for Christmas, but you have to consider the overall shopping season. A LOT of people buy stuff VERY early, to get "deals" and that sort of thing. Also, Black Friday is the biggest sales day of the year.

It's Blizzard.... they don't need to time the release. If they say it will be released on a Wednesday, then it'll be released on a Wednesday and still break sales records. Heck they could release it on Thanksgiving at 6:00 p.m. and they'll still have the fastest selling P.C. game of all time.

Everyone seems to be almost 100% sure WOTLK will be coming either November or December of this year.
November does seem more logical since it will give everyone more time to purchase the game for the holidays.
So... just how many players do you REALLY think will wait over 1 month to buy/play WotLK?
