I'm somewhat new to rogues, my highest being lvl 25 and the one I'm working on being 18 but I don't like just mashing the SS button. I think rogues should be sneaky and want to level Sub, I know it won't be as fast or "good" as combat swords but could anyone help me in designing a sub spec for leveling? Also, using daggers over swords doesn't matter, I will use either that I find/rewarded.
Here is my current armory

(Not updated since going through SFK and leveling)

If you want to lvl as subt, this was the build I used

I got 5/5 malice first, then went into subt. While lvling, MoD will help you avoid detection from mobs, and Camo will give you mobility.
While lvling as subt, you would want to focus on burst damage from Ambush and Backstab. SS spamming isnt going to yeild all that much. Single mob fights are long, and adds are very difficult to handle. This is a PvP spec and is not really meant for lvling, tho if you have the patience that many of the die-hard combat rogues lack, this can be an interesting and challenging way to lvl. My first rogue was lvled 10-52 as Subt, before i abandoned to re-roll with my gf. Also that toon had no money, poor gear, and horrible profs. My second rogue, which I use now (armory in sig) was lvled from 10-39 as subt, then after bging my ass off i decided to change it up a bit and go combat. Recently respecced into assassination too.
As you stated, you are not going to lvling speed and the mob killing efficiency of Combat. But keep in mind that Subt is hard to lvl as w/o the proper gear choices.

I'm cool using SS, but I just don't was SS, SS, SS, SS,SS, Evis to be my rotation, i'd rather mix it up some, use other skills.
Also, about the build, Why no Ghostly Strike? That would give me time to deal more dmg before losing the 15% dodge.

That was the build when I was still a nooblett tard muffin. Its still effective enough for lvling.
Heres a better one for ya -

Low level is going to be tough, just playing around though I came up with something like
this
. Start by maxing out Malice and Puncturing woulds, and them move on the the Sub tree for Opportunity.
Another option would be to throw 3 points into Improved Gouge early on, that would probably relieve some of the "TURN AROUND DAMNIT!" that is bound to happen.

Hemo is crap when using daggers. I know by experience. You get more damage from SS and Backstabbing, even with the debuff Hemo provides. Were he going swords, then Hemo would be a nice choice.

Come on guys, keep up. OP said he didn't want to spam his SS key all the way to 70. I could be sarcastic and create a hemo build which is essentially the same rotation, or go on the assumption that he would rather use daggers. Hence...Puncturing Wounds.
