Im acturally disappointed about the opt ins. I mean i enjoy these contests here :D but in general i thought they would let formal players in the beta first.
Ive been playing this game since first beta without shame ... 3 years or more.As u see im a big fan of this and been a part of a history myself with guildmates on old servers and such. It have been an experience to be in the world of warcraft for so long, that i can think back on the days of deathwing and my old guild: Precious. That were times. Pre-tbc was really chilling times ;)
However, some irl mates started to play and i migrated with em to Twisting nether ...
I wont tell my wow-life story, but just letting out a releasing feeling how it is to be "laid behind" of the opt ins.
My neighbour got a mail to join the beta recently. And the funny thing is that I requested him to join wow not long ago. However, he got a spot in there and he just started playing ..
eh, abit unfair?
Anyways. others feeling like me?

Invites are sent out at random. Those who have been playing since World of Warcraft's early stages don't automatically get a spot in the Beta test. In fact, Blizzard prefers testers who are willing to test the Beta out and report bugs with descriptive details. Newer players tend to be more specific than older players (since they can often describe things using less words).
I'm not saying all veteran players don't write good bug reports. I'm just saying invites are merely sent out at random.
However, if you were part of the WWI event this year in Paris or last year's Blizzcon event, you have a better chance of getting -- with the assumption you entered your code prior to the August 1st deadline.

Anyhow, im a player who report those bugs, im willing to do what i can as a player, to make the game release comfortable as i just told.
