Do you even have a mage? Frost isn't that great for PvE. It's a survival spec! Arcane/Fire (31/30/0) is the way to go. My mage is mostly epics with 2 pieces of Merciless and no other tier, just Kara epics.
http://www.wowarmory.com/character-talents.xml?r=Aerie+Peak&n=Syphirx
is my spec and it's a perfect DPS combo. Arcane Power and Presence of Mind. That's why he said Icy Veins Fire, which only has 11 points in Frost, for what is one of the best 11 point talents in the entire game.
Your spec confuses me. You go so deep in both trees that you miss some of the best talents in each, and your spec as a whole seems to have no clear focus other than AP+PoM+Pyroblast, the Three Minute Mage. After that, though, what do you do? Sling fireballs? You'd hit harder with Pyromaniac and Empowered Fireball, and with your low spell hit the hit from Elemental Precision could help quite a bit.WHAT? I crit 3-4k on my Insta-Pyro. That's like saying "Don't touch the WIN button, it takes to long to push it."2/47/11+1 in your gear would likely hit harder with fireball - plus the insta-pyro still has a 1.5 second GCD (reduced by haste if you have any), half of the cast of an improved fireball.. and a Pyroblast with full cast time involved is sub-par DPS, unfortunately.

Project Lore. Pretty neat stuff. The wrap up video is a little annoying. I liked how you talked about doing Kara though and the girl was a nice change. She's cute. Thats great. I've only recently started doing Kara. I'm not too familiar with it so I'm looking forward to your explanations of Kara bosses. Esp. not moving during Shade's flame wreath. Haha!
Also when you talked about wind fury totems you didn't say what they did. I know what they do. They give you a chance for extra attacks. Not everyone knows this, and since you seem to be appealing to the noobie audience I thought I should point that out.

just few tips on tanking...
1. use revenge, alot. generates a massive threat.
2. if ur Thunder Clap is on CD, use Demo shout. demo shout = 1/4 of a sunder to all mobs around u. and ofc it will lower their atp, so u will get lower hits.
3. in case u lose aggro, like it happend on the 3rd boss. use Intervene, it allows u to get the melee/range hit (not cast) so the clothie/healer or what not, wont receive that first hit, plus it will bring u closer to the target so u wont need to run after it to taunt it.
i've also checked ur tanking spec i could advise u, a spec i use when i'm tanking as prot.
http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=LA0czZZbEtoI0dcest
with this build u generate max threat per rage.
The spec fails because you are missing out on cruelty, that 5% crit doubles most tanks chance to crit, his spec is fine but getting a better enchant will help his threat a lot.
Also intervene is my best friend.
actually i've done enough BT tanking to tell u its generates so much threat, that dps can go all out. without watching their threat meters.
u should try it.
Maybe youve got a great ability rotation, maybe your DPS are very good at managing aggro or maybe your DPS arent doing a lot of damage. Either way your success as a BT tank is probably not to be contributed entirely to your spec. Cruelty is a good talent for generating threat, and youd probably do better if you included it in your spec.
1. i'm tank in BT, as an off spec. mainly i'm dps warrior, raiding SWP.
2. cruelty is awesome and great specially when ur shield slam crits. and yet i generate ~200 more tps then i would do with the "general" tanking spec (8/5/48).
3.if our dps wouldnt do enough dmg we would never pass Brutalis.
4.mostly tanks require MD at the middle of the fight, to get enough threat. i mostly dont.
bottom line is, i've tried both specs. i consider my spec better. try it for few raids, then post what u think about it :)
thats how it really works, u try it, u know how it works. u can say what u think about it.
if u didnt try my spec, and u dont know how it works, i cant really relay on ur comments about it, now can i?

mr. tank guy its threat not agro you also forgot revenge, shield block, cleave, demo shout, battle shout and commanding shout :P threat gen is based on how much you hit which you said and shield block value. shield block value not only decreases the damage you take but also increase the damage you do with your shield slam. ussualy you would run a heroic with a threat set good DPS will most likely pull off of you because of the lack of threat the mobs give you when they hit you :P
sorry if this was already posted im not going to read every post :P

I hate to agree but I feel like slapping a pretty face on the PLore videos made some viewers happy but it's still a cop out. You guys do a great job running over the basics of some aspects of the game but I'm sure you guys can get deeper and hope you do later one. Keep up the good work though!

I got one question.
What is that addon that mage has that shows the whole dungeon and it marks where they have been?
I think they might add that in later to help you see where they have been.

Alexis Knapp, "girl from the cubicle"
One of the first Google search links...
I am VERY easy to work with, no complaining, whiny or bad attitudes.
I speak on film very comfortably so being a spokes model is no problem whatsoever.
How cute, I'd rather they'd have just said "here's something pretty to look at while we recount how sub-par WoW players do heroics".
Admittedly despite the poor actual WoW playing, the videos are well-done from a technical standpoint.

Seriously?
Seriously?
