First of all... There are a few fundamentally flawed talents you have.
Such as:
Enhancing Totems: This will give you no benefit in PvP. If you have half a brain... you will have Earthbind or Grounding or Tremor down at all times. Depending on the fight.
Improved Ghost Wolf: Good for kiting players and chasing down runners. A must have for PvP.
Toughness: Also a must have in PvP due to the reduced movement impairing time.
Also, by not going Resto you drop yourself 3% hit. Which is FAR greater than 5% Shock damage.
So my suggestion to you is spec more into Enhancement for PvP and if you do more PvE than PvP, I highly recommend going Resto.
the biggest trick to this working is balanceing your gear for meele and spell,
Wrong. As an enhancement Shaman, you are reducing your DPS by getting elemental items. Your spec should give you enough +Spl Damage in itself. Don't hinder your melee DPS for a little extra spell damage. If you want to cast, go elemental.
I'm enhancement and my spec is
here
Also, SL SL Locks aren't that bad... just keep Tremor/Grounding up as much as possible, and EShock to interrupt.
Good Rogues suck... Rogues > Shaman
Hunters... Just keep em frost shocked and do your best.
Good luck.

1. I´m no hardcore PvPer, but are you not already hit capped without the 3% hit from resto?
2. Tremor totem is already at 30yd, so your argument fails

2. No it isn't. It's 20 yards until you spec it at 30 yards with resto.
No, they raised it to 30 yards a couple patches back when they increased the pulse frequency.

Ok, so if Tremor totem
http://wotlk.wowhead.com/?spell=8143
is 30yd, and you combine it with
http://wotlk.wowhead.com/?spell=16189
. How the hell does that become 40yd?

Oh the ignorance... (I see why now. Topic starter is Alliance.)
Let me clarify a few things for you guys.
Grounding Totem completely absorbs any offensive or hindering spell targeted against you.
Good Spec ->
http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=hZxVbdVxsAuqoxbGz
(for PvP)
Everything is good except there is no Imp Grounding and the Imp Reincarnate is NOT necessary in PvP or PvE. If you plan on relying on Reincarnate during PvP to gain the advantage, you are phail. If you use an ankh, you can pretty much be 1shot by anyone in whites.
well like i said befor maybe it only works for me because its what ive used for ever, and did i mention befor 10% less dmg to fire frost and nature 1 sec less cd on shocks? i find all those a little more useful then 3% extra hit rateing when i dont miss often any way and as for the range i can keep my totems set by my foe so i dont need the extra 10 yrds, though i do see ur point on the usefulness of grounding i think the giant amount of stats i get from the 90 somethin strength and agility helps me do more dmg and helps when i dps in my guild on raids. basicly i see the helpfulness of resto but the extra elemental dose alot more dmg and gives me more survivability via quicker shock for silence and slow, elemental warding and i can kill my foe faster
A few things:
It's 5% more shock damage not 10%
1 sec off of shock CDs is nice, but not worth the 10 previous points. Quicker silence and slow? False. All it is is wasting mana. You should only shock to interrupt, burst, or slow. Should be often enough to not require 1sec reduction for 15 talent points.
10 extra yards is a LOT when you are being kited by a good player. By continuously laying down totems as you get closer uses your GCD and therefore allows for missed chances on Grounding Totems, Shocks, and Stormstrikes.
Yes... Improved Str and Agi are good for raids... but we are talking about PvP. Isn't the topic called "Lets talk Shaman PvP?" (You would be using WF in a good raid enviornment anyway)
with forst mages it takes alot of practice but a frost resist totem and a trinket helps alot,
LMAO... Frost resist is wasting Mana/GCD/Fire Nova totem that can do an additional 900DMG
as for locks grounding and tremor, as for the shadow bolt i can shock em befor they cast, just drop a tremor grounding combo and some kinda fire dmg totem and try to save earth shock for when they try to cast, again, trinket helps alot for deathcoil if grounding dont get it,
Very good... Maybe we are learning something.
Also... I do think Tremor is capped at 30yds. The imp range doesn't affect that. No worries though.
One final thing about the +3% hit. Ponder this:
So you are going up against a <random enemy>. You rush in interrupt any cast, and Stormstrike their face in. Imagine that WF hasn't procced yet. But it does on the following main hand swing netting you 2 1.5k WF Crits. 3k damage right there.
Now imagine this:
You go up against the same enemy... but you don't have the +3% hit. You do the same exact thing except you don't get your WF proc because that swing misses. Granted WF is bound to happen... but it does on an off hand swing only netting regular 300 WF strikes.
The difference is 2,700 damage.
Tell me now that an additional 50DMG on each shock is worth 3% hit.
GG
