One thing, Who cares if the shammy is wearing leather!? My T4/T5 Hunter wears leather. Why? Alot of "Rogue" leather has more agility and equates to more DPS, especially as Survival.

Very good idea... but rather poor execution, i too am a newly 70 a first time heroic tank and so i am looking into more indepth stuff and strategies and this videos could have been a real life saver for me sparing me hours of research and embarasment getting the actul tanking experience but... it was not so... trying to make it funy they just made it dumb.. real dumb.. sory wowhead guys i have the utmost respekt for the site and all but u realy need to l2play and that stands higher than making it funny, after all tahts whats most apreciated at wowhead, the vast and corect information u guys have to offer
in the ending i would like to say: U guys rock! keep the good work and read ur own site for strategies b4 u jump into the fray ;)

I completely agree about the DND LFG comment. I played DND before I tried WOW and then once I saw the WOW old LFG channel just thought "This is stupid." Then the new one is just useless, it should have name of group members and spec at least. The DND way is so much easier and faster, even when running around town you had a special dot beside your name so everyone could see you were LFG, then they could see what for. Really hope Blizzard do something about this, would be nice if Trade was trade stuff only, except at night, hehe.
Brilliant and funny vids guys, keep up the good work please!
If anyone is looking for How To: videos, Stego's videos on youtube are the best thing out there for learning tactics of a boss without doing the boss.
Love the lore bits on the bosses btw, Blizzard seem to miss out on stuff like lore alot.

It's almost like Topgear, but for WoW.
Except it's not funny.

Hokay… Why I don't like these series and don't see a capacity to improve?
First of all, it looks like the guys aren't confident in what they're doing. Overconcentrated gazes at monitors and awkward delays when the main guy tries to remember the boss's name (and his eyes are searching for his notes which we don't see) make me think of them as of several casuals at best. Not the ones who are going to talk about "lore" and to give advices.
Second, what advices they give? To kill totems? (They have mentioned to not destroy corrupted nova totem, haven't they?) When I was only starting heroics and every single run made me shiver, I've found a very insightful comment here on Wowhead:
"I've never done a heroic. Is this just impossible or what?"
Nah, Heroics just kinda reverse your usual 5-man logic. In pretty much all of them the trash is worse than the bosses. You just can't have a single idiot in your group is all. I'm not even saying no PUGs, Just no idiots.
So why they don't show us how average players just stepped into heroic should do pulling, cc'ing, should know mobs' abilities to give the right and the least stressful killing order? Instead of talking about, geez, totems and using fast-forward all the time.
Third, and that what I would like to see. It's an example, an aim, some kind of goodness you sometimes can find at warcraftmovies.com that make you want to continue to play this game and this class and to starve for knowledge (and that's why we're here and at EJ). I did several daily heroics with members of top end guilds on our server and it's hardly describable. They don't wipe (almost :), they place marks on mobs and start pulling before I can count to 5, they react and think faster. It's a pleasure and I could definitely learn something from them, if they would be here (I mean Project Lore) to give some advices.
All in all, this video may be fun, but I'm confused what it has with Wowhead.

To tell me I'm not contributing because my feedback was negative is false in every manner. I'm harsh because I've played with the best, and I expect to see the best when someone is going to do something like this.
Well firstly noone cares about your expectations, if u think its crap then don't watch it, simple.
Secondly, why would you think that everyone plays the game to be the best, 5 young/middle aged guys drinking beer obviously aren't gonna be the best (other wise it would be hosted by 5 pale nerdy teens). there just casual gamers as Goering said.
And finally get out and get a girl or guy (what ever floats ur boat) u sound like u need one.
Not so simple. Criticism doesn't mean only thumbs-up, you know?
The fact that you may be at their level of playing doesn't mean this project is a good thing and a pure uberness. And it's not only here so. Try to talk to a movie or a music fan with a large experience in his area and a good taste, ask him for feedback and see how he tries his best to not make you feel poor.
