I've never gotten motion sick playing WoW but I do lots of other games, so I think this is a great addition.Let's not even talk about my attempt to play portal 2...sigh...
Motion Sickness aka BFA
I don't even have motion sickness and I'm excited for this! Can't wait to try some of this out.
Only place I get mine in game is if I'm on the darkmoon carousel. There's a little lip just at the edge I can stand on so I don't actually go around with it, but still get the buff. Spinning in circles seems fine, but if I'm not moving and everything is spinning.. I get queasy. Hope they also give something to disable the drunk effects in game, I know a few people that get bothered by those blurred out animations.
Cool.I remember when I found a crystal in Aszuna for the Long Lost mount I made myself so sick trying to find the other ones. How to give up on finding the last one and couldn't really play the next day.
All games need this. There are so many games I can't play because of motion sickness. WoW is one of the few that has never been an issue for me. They already have pretty good screen stabilization by default. I'm glad rhey have it as a specific option now though, especially if they are altering screen movement properties in Shadowlands.
Landlubbers. All of ya!
Oh good! I might finally be able to stomach (literally) doing the Spine of Deathwing fight solo. Now about those mobs in the vale that "drown" you ...
very nicealthough I don't have motion sickness problems in WoW than in other games, this is a nice improvement
Sheesh, didn't realize motion sickness while looking at a screen was is a thing.
nice <3
Thank you so much! Screen shaking brings up seizure-type issues and I am so glad I will be able to nullify them.
While I would not need any of these accessibility features myself, I love that they are becoming increasingly available in new games. The Last of Us Part 2 has recently gone crazy with the tweaking you can do.
