Since Blood Elves have eyes of green or gold, are the blue eyes just High Elves then?
Alpha is the moment where Blizzard would be more interested (and inclined) to implement new ideas. As we've seen more than once, beta is more for fine tuning and minor changes than new ideas and new implementations, since most of the stuff that shows up during beta were developed during the alpha.

You are adamently incorrect. Evidence even from prior to the Blood Elves being playable with the Burning Crusade game trailer: " World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade PC Games Trailer - " 3:00 minutes in.The Blood Elves have been and will always be the High Elves. Sin'dorei is the name they took upon themselves to remember always their fallen. The High Elves still reside in their Capital: Silvermon. Why is this so hard for people to grasp at all. Their eyes change via their corruption via the fel: green, blue:arcane, yellow(gold):the light; Purple:void. The changes for void elves barely make logical sense. While they are indeed still High Elves (they are blood elves that turned to the void) they are logically void aka the purple eyes and void touched skin. But I forgot to mention that Alleria learned to contain the void elements from her outside appearance etc so logically it could be seen that the Void Elves would learn to do the same. Then again, this is a video game and Blizzard has yet to care truly about lore. Have fun with it.
I'm pretty sure Afrasiabi was responsible for this change, while Ion is still the Game Director there other voices in the team that's probably heavy as his.Afrasiabi was the only Top Dev that said to High Elf fans to not lose hope. He also kinda implied that HE customizations could come for Void Elves.Ion was never flexible about this, every time he talked about this he showed little to no respect to High Elf fans, he wasn't even polite while denying any possibility. I really dislike Ion, and I'm pretty sure he was against it until the last minute, but these things are probably decided by the whole Team and not only one guy, regardless of his position.
This is bad and I do not like this. Why did they give us void elves in Legion then? What is the point of Void Elves and did anyone want them? Were people asking for Void Elves ever since you could explore that one lodge in Eastern Plaguelands in 2004? No, people wanted High Elves. And Blizzard gave us Void Elves. Now they are giving blue eyes to the Horde Blood Elves. Why? Because the Horde wants High Elves too? If Horde players want High Elves they should play Alliance... same way when I want to play an orc as Alliance, I do not want orcs in the Alliance, I want to play an orc, I go play Horde... I thought this was easy to understand, but apparently not.
Sooo... Are we going to have an explaination about the darker skin tones and where they popped out of then? Like, a lore one?Island nation? Secret society-- ANYTHING please? You can't just shove lore-documented evolutionary specifics out of the way for the sake of player choise, c'mon!*Nervous jitters*
So much nonsense on an option that you dont even see 99% of the time. Fhirst fix the game and the issues that matters... eye colors...plzz...cheap shot from both Blizz and from the players. Add body types selection, height, muscle. Not just RE coloring stuff...i recommend to every one Elder scrolls online its free. Just try it for the character creation. Since blizz can only stole *good* ideas from other games exspecialy nowdays, there is ALOT in ESO. I tryed it cuz of BFA is realy...REALY BAD, exspecialy for a pvp-er (thinking about gearing mainly)... and the amount of player friendlynes in ESO is amaized me. I realy recomend trying it for both PvE and PvP.
Hello and i agree that elves's not looks alone as i'd like to be able to play as An Alliance high elf paladin. And what better time to do that then in shadowlands with so many undeads to smite. But if they won't do that for us guess i'll fully faction change and cause even more faction imballance as i'm one of the last alliance mains as most people main horde.
