Errr... Wand Specialization. No use in PVE or PVP unless you're leveling. Even then it's questionable.
"I never use Wand Specialization because wands are stat sticks and a last resort, although I'd rather die wanding than not casting..."

until WotLK talents come out, i hate imp fade, shadowy resil, among other useless fillers

1) Lightwell
2) Feedback

Imp fade all the way (though it could get some use in Wotlk shadow PVP build...)
Spell I use the least is Touch of Weakness, its just so much trouble putting it up everytime I use it at most sometimes in PVP.
Edit: Spelling

Lol I use Abolish Disease ALL THE TIME when I'm healing. And yea when WOTLK comes out, Priest will rape Death Knight in Arena as far as countering damage. Resto druids can't cancel diseases? What? Lulz.

talents:
improved fade - i rarely use the spell, so why would i care if it has 24 sec cooldown rather than 30 seconds??? i only use it once or twice a night.. give it a 1 hr cooldown for all i care. hahaha
spells:
remove disease - too many outlands diseases cannot be removed by it... so i took it off my toolbar. if you pvp and are attacked by many rogues, i suppose you would find much use from this.
feedback - the mana i spend to cast it doesn't justify the mana it will burn.
lightwell - i tried. i really did... but nobody understands how to use it!!! argh
mind sooth - i usually only Mind Control in group content now-a-days.... but i used it 2-3 times while leveling and back when i had gathering profs

Lightwell - its really the only spell as a Priest I don't care for at all. Ive talented it, found it to be a really good concept, but its just a waste of a point.
As far as other people not liking a spell because they don't use it, you're not using your class to full potencial.
Mind Soothe - How is this not awesome?? You sneak past enemies with a little bit of cleverness. I use this almost every single day either with dailies or heroics. Also, Ive got a macro for this so that when I cast it says, "These are not the druids you are looking for." Yuh, don't feel like a nerd when doing that. >.> <.<
Mind Vision - wow, you've never made a macro to go stalk someone before, or used this to scout areas, or to mark with around a corner, or whatever.
Abolish Disease - ehh, I also use this almost every day, and Priests are the only class that are
effective
at keeping diseases off.
Wand Specialization - Believe it or not I use my wand, then again, Im a SPriest, using a shadow damage dealing wand. Thats 40% damage increase, so my wand hits in the 440s and up, every single whap. Ive gotten a 821 wand crit before. I haven't done a serious raid in about 3 weeks now, but If I do sign up for my guilds BT or my rl buddy pulls me into his guild's SW run, I
always
respec out of it.
In terms of Priest racial spells, they are all situational. Even if Consume Magic is absolute crap (which its not), it still has its use. These spells are not there for real usage, but for lore reasons and to separate the Priest class out.
edit: I think you beat me posting this sugar, lol Youre post wasnt there when I started typing this out.

Have all of these people bashing Mind Soothe tried using it on
Sunblade Scouts
? It makes those pulls a whole lot easier.

Lightwell CAN be used properly, if you say screw the rest of your raid. ;-) Here's how I use it:
IF I die, in Spirit of Redemption form, I cast a lightwell next to me. Assuming my warlocks have done their job and SS'd me, I pop back up and well myself. :-) Awesome self-heal at no real cost because it was cast in Spirit form. Sure it might not be worth a talent point, but if you have a consistent group of raiders, you CAN educate people that you click on it ONCE only if you're not going to get hit!

Nice Oscar. lmao
Thats actually an effective way to use it. Theres the thing about dieing in the first place, but meh its all good.

Yeah I had to use it earlier today on Rage Windchill, I ate a frost bolt and took the ice block of death to my grave. :-) Surprisingly others in my raid did seem to know how to use it. ;-) It was gone about half a minute after I popped back up and lightwelled myself

As everyone above me has already stated, Lightwell. But for one reason differing from everyone else. I like that it's situational, conditional, and interesting. Adds a bit of spice to the class. What I don't like is that it can be up a MAX of 3 minutes (if you don't use all charges) while its cooldown is 6 minutes. I personally think -that- is retarded.
I skip Surge of Light and Holy Nova, even though I've often been found doing as much DPS as I do healing (go go lolsmite on Akama xD).
Using Surge of Light to its advantage in the middle of a boss fight can distract (i.e. those of us with ADHD, and I know I'm not the only one) your healing, and in a flash your tank gets parry-crushed (oh snap!).
On the other hand, Holy Nova (while fun) is just too expensive.
