Teabagging isn't lame because of the supposed drama it causes. It's lame because it looks really stupid. It looks like something from a Benny Hill chase scene. How is that going to $%^& someone off? It's just embarrassing to watch, because the people doing it think they're somehow being badasses. But I'm sorry. You can't be a badass with Yakety Sax as your theme song.

I love teabagging, personally. Why?
Because it stirrs up hilarious drama like this.
You got killed and someone pressed X a bunch of times, boo hoo.
What's funny is that I
explicitly
said it wasn't the teabagging that bothered me -- it was the fact that (I assumed...) the guy was a scrub who was killing toons in their 50s 'cos he couldn't kill anyone in their 70s. So who exactly is 'stirring' up hilarious drama?
But I agree with Adashiel -- teabagging is like picking your nose in public. Sure, it gets you your desperately wanted attention and 'stirrs' up drama, but we grownups aren't laughing
with
you, we're laughing
at
you.
edited to add:
But, corpse-eating your enemy as a Forsaken really
is
hilarious.

The reason I go killing lowbies every so often is not because I can't kill 70s, but simply because the same thing was done to me at that level. Everyone on a PvP server has, at one point in time, been ganked at a really frustrating time, be it during a quest or really far from a graveyard, and in a sense people feel the need to do the same to the other faction once they reach 70. This is further enhanced by the knowledge that a decent amount of low level players are alts.
@ the topic creator, think of it this way: They probably went through the exact same thing as you and want to exact vengeance or something. You never know. <==(KEY WORDS)

And for what? He got nothing from camping, other than knowing he's wasting my time. No HK, I'm not losing any durability, nothing gained by him or really lost by me, other than time. He could be working off his asocial behavior in some BG, where he could earn something from it with real fights. But I could do him no harm, so what is the point?
You seem to forget that, in fact, we play video games for fun (I hope). Killing people much lower level can be, in fact, fun. Whenever i find myself near a lowbie or a poorly geared 70, i take the time to kill them because it's probably more fun than doing dailies or BGing or whatever i would've been doing in that time. It may be sad, but it's true.

Might be for vengeance. Might be for fun. Might be because they are bored. I know I've killed a lowbie or two for all those reasons -- it's funny to watch em try and run away! "Run little warlock run! That's right, watch as all your curses are resisted! Bwahahaha ha!"
But that's not was I was asking about -- I'm not that curious about the mind of the ganker. The vast majority of lowbie who are ganked (or camped) are alts of people with 70s. I'm just wondering how people respond to being ganked, whether the gankees think differently about the experience depending on whether the ganker is in full s3 gear or whatever, or whether they are wearing 'welfare epics'.

I knew life on a PvP server would be more interesting than on a "normal" server like the one my son plays on.
...
On the third hand, yesterday, while getting to the mine in Hillsbrad with my 34 lock, I got tangled up with both a spider and a bear, and while battling that, a 38 human warrior took an opportunity and made well with it. We gave each other a good fight, but in the end, he had the advantage and won. After the walk and rez, I tried getting to the mine, and there he was again. Another good fight, one where I almost had him, but he still won. No problem, I appreciated the lesson, I need to learn to fight better, instead of tangling my fingers together. Shoulda been quicker with sac'ing the VW. I had no problem with his camping me, we both got something out of this.
Off topic, this is exactly why I love PvP servers. There's no real challenge in killing x number of bears or whatever, but trying to give as good as you get in a real, spontaneous (and often unbalanced and unfair!) player vs. player battle is the real heart of this game, methinks.

And what i'm saying is, it really shouldn't matter what gear they have. They probably aren't doing it BECAUSE they only have "welfare pics" and can't kill other 70s, but because it's fun.
When i get ganked, I really don't care what gear they have. Seems silly.

Greens are better than naked until you can get the honor and marks for the basics.
Although naked dance parties in Defiler's Den in AB can be fun, especially when your Alliance team bites and Horde have 5-capped yet again...
To answer the OP's question: I don't care about gear. But I also don't play on a PvP server, because I like to control (to an extent) when and against whom I fight. Duels, battlegrounds - OK. The occasional royal rumble outside Karazhan when someone gets summoned from a battleground? Sure, I don't mind that - everyone is generally on semi-equal footing since it's a 70 instance.
Getting fragged and corpse camped 10 times a day by every Rogue in the same zip code? No thanks.
