That's a great change! Especially on my mage, so I can just teleport to where I need to go instead of following a wild route through portals and zeppelin rides.
It was a great idea for the noobies who don't know their way around yet, but more often than not the route they gave you was not optimal at all.
Oh my god, this game is spoonfeeding information to the players.I'm going back to Classic where you had to ask in chat to find a quest's turn-in point lest you have to wander aimlessly through the world for 7 years and a day.Just kidding.
wtf
You guys can THANK me btw!i had a conversation with a GM in the start of 8.2 about that and he told me that would talk to the dev team =D
I see now. When I first read the headline I thought it was some button that kills you in a very complex, elaborate way :D
What about all those quests that show you a ? here but the actual location of the real NPC to turn in is someplace completely different?
THANK GOD!
So I don't have to take the portal to Stormwind, the Deep Run Tram to Ironforge, a flight to Menethil, a boat to Howling Fjord then another flight to Borean when I was just trying to go from Northrend Dalaran to Borean?
The directions provided are often bad and overly roundabout. Sending you across continents you don't have to visit even. I've been sent from Boralus > IF > Menethil > ect. Just to reach Gadgetzan. I think Boralus > Silithus > fly would have been the more sensible route. Or even Boralus> SW > Uldum is less roundabout than what was suggested. Or heck, nowadays don't we have the CoT portal returned? Boralus > SW > CoT. Whatever the case this has been an absolute mess of a system. One that shouldn't even be necessary in the first place. The complete babying of players is getting out of control. Can't even successfully find their way from point A to point B with a darn map in front of them! The destination view should really be the default and the option to show you steps should be something players reach for when completely lost. But really more so, if players can't plan a route to a destination by looking at the map provided... something is seriously wrong on a more fundamental level.
Back to the Hydraxis......I remember when you have to go (or should I better say swimm) to him in classic.
Good... but I am still waiting for them to start adding sets to wardrobe... or at the very least, to give us string import/export and a chance to save sets to the relevant wardrobe page. There are quite a few green sets in BfA that look nice, but few people actually know about them since they don't exist in the wardrobe.
That was the most inconvenient change they made it. It was supposed to be a convenience, showing you the best way to get to the destination, but in the end, it was damn annoying. Not only not showing where you were supposed to go, but also sometimes it makes you go all around the world.I once had to go from Stormwind to Booty Bay, it made me take the tram to Ironforge, fly to Menethil harbor, take a boat to Theramore, fly to Ratchet and then take a boat to Booty Bay. What the heck xD
Well this is really nice addition.

What the hell is wrong with you people !@#$%ing about this? "I don't like this" "how do you turn it off"?From above the first graphic "Click the "?" in the top right corner to see where the final turn in destination is"If you don't like it, DON'T USE IT. I don't know how many times I've had to go to Wowhead to look for turn in info. It DOES happen. Not often, but very frustrating when it does.
