God I hope not Kul'Tirans would be a most boring addition as an Allied race a slightly bigger humans is counts as a different race now?
This is a great concept and one that I, and I'm sure many others, would love to see playable. A twist on the game's Druidic magic with influence from real world culture is such a great idea! Kul'Tiran Druids, yes please!
Those wicker beasts are made with dark magic.... why would they be used for/by druids.
Don’t like them? Don’t play them. The golden rule lol why do people feel that certain things shouldn’t even be available to all the millions of players just cause they (singularly) don’t like them? Like the whole Vulpera rant. Don’t like them? Don’t play them. But there are many more people who do want them, me included. Don’t ruin other people’s fun.
I'd be cool with this, though as a die-hard tauren druid i would be IMMENSELY jelly. X]Allies need something that looks like blizz really put effort into because the zandalari are eclipsing every. bloody. thing. so far.
The wicker men look amazing, like Leshens out of The Witcher 3. Who wouldn't want to play a druid Leshen? I like the Void Elves and Lightforged Draenei, even though I didn't ask for them and there are plenty of races I would have. I wasn't excited at all about Kul'Tirans at all, but if they druids and their druids look like those then I am all for it. Finally something about BfA for me to get super excited about. For those that don't like the idea, well, I don't like you. We can't be friends.
I'm not sure I understand the opposition to additional Human races in Warcraft. The first Warcraft game was literally titled as Orcs and Humans. Humans are as much a part of Warcraft as any other race(if not more), and Humans represent a larger portion of the player base than any other. If you don't care for Humans, there is nothing stopping you from continuing to play the many established non-human Warcraft races. But again, the fact remains that more players play Humans than any other race, so your opinion that Human races are boring means absolutely nothing to the larger Warcraft fan base. I approve of any race, class, and class combination that makes sense in the Warcraft story as Blizzard has chosen to write it. I don't care what you think makes sense, or what you think the story means either, I care what Blizzard thinks it means. Case in point - Zandalari Paladins not being a thing in World of Warcraft. This doesn't mean I agree with every choice that Blizzard makes, but I feel like they have done a tremendous job with the Warcraft story and lore as a whole. To get the story where it is today was no simple feat. I'm not keen to see things twisted too far into an amalgamation where things are rewritten and changed just so a percentage of the population can be allowed to play as the fluffy farm animals they have been dreaming of. Include additions that will make sense in the established story, and if the additions you are making are not adding anything of value beyond pleasing a small percentage of outliers, then perhaps those additions should be reconsidered.I hope that if we see another Human race, that they too will also have the Every Man for Himself racial.
I'd much rather have Kul'tirans than Lightforged Draenei, at least it is a new model. dont get me wrong, i like lightforged, but if we are talking about allied races being boring dude to their similarity to their cousin races then mag'har, Dark Iron, Lightforged, Void elves and Highmountain are all higher on the lsit than Kul'tiran because they are literally just reskins of their existing race whereas kul'tiran is a new model.
Half-elves will be what we'll get, not Kul Tirans.
