The stupid tree burns because the alliance raised tensions between the factions by murdering the goblin workers (civilians) who were simply told to go mine the Azerite to get paid probably
I don't get it. Am I reading some altered version of these texts and not the same one all those "Sylvanas is evil" wailers? How is removing a backstabbing enemy from your territory a bad thing? How is exactly is it different or more "crime-y" than sacking Undercity? Do you not understand what she is saying? And what goal is she pursuing in her actions? Yes, that's some very heavy-handed writing from Blizzard's side, influenced by the thousands of racist bigots spewing nonsense about the Forsaken. But it still shows pretty clearly that Sylvanas does try her best to be the Warchief. Naturally, she wasn't ready for the position and still has miles to go, but is she the monster you all try to paint her? No, not nearly. At least, not if you even try to get out of tiny world and understand what the Forsaken went through. And of course she and Saurfang won't see eye to eye on every single question. Thrall didn't. Naturally, she will use her wit and sharp tongue when she's not particularly happy. Maybe it's time to see beyond the world of generic 2-bit do-gooders and understand that things can never be that simple?I just hope this whole conflict, which I really find extremely out of place after the Legion, is just to introduce the real enemy - Void and Old Gods as its extension. Then we'll see what you say about your precious Void Elves amd your boy-king, who clearly showed an affinity for Shadow. Will you see them as the abbominations you imagine Forsaken to be? Or when it will be Sylvanas to actually put an arrow through an Old God's heart, will you finally open your eyes at least then?
Who cares? The lore doesn't define us and their fiction jumped the shark a long time ago. You guys take this stuff seriously? The whole Illidian tale was laughable. Weren't you all rolling your eyes and groaning about the whole chosen-one, golden eyed-elf boy who believes only in himself story-line? If Illidian Stormrage were a role player he would have been tarred and feathered as a Mary Sue and kicked out of the Goldshire Inn faster than you can emote /golfclap. They keep on killing off original major faction characters at an incredible rate, or doing absurd things to them. I feel sorry for the lore junkies and role-play nerds who feel they have to define their game by the official fiction. Finding good fantasy fiction in a MMORPG is like dumpster diving; once in a while you find a treasure, most of the time it's pure garbage!
Something tells me blizzard is purposely misleading us with some of this, they are well aware of data-mining and aren't really a fan of it's spoilish nature, so they could easily leave this, pretty terrible story in the alpha/beta up until they are ready to launch the expansion.
Time to finish what Garrosh started <3
Exactly what I have been saying on this site for quite a while now..Finally, it's put to rest who fired first!
I love it, it's about time we are again seeing the Horde as they were intended to be. It's like Blizzard had forgotten what it means to be Horde for the last half a dozen years. It's satisfying to finally see things taken into the appropriate direction for a game that is about War. You know... World of WARcraft? Green Jesus only deluded the Horde player base into thinking that they were some great peaceful tree-hugging nation. You can't just up and change the history of your people in the span of a few years, and then suddenly claim to be the "good guys". I miss the Thrall from Warcraft 3, he was infinitely more interesting than the Green Jesus Thrall of Cataclysm and beyond.Just look at the players from the Horde player base... Most of them are honest to God wimps. Consider the history of the Orcs, of the Trolls, the Undead, etc... the Horde races were never created to be the "good guys" so to speak. And it doesn't matter how many times you tell players that they can choose to define their character's separate from the main story lines, and that they can be Horde, and dislike Sylvanas and the actions of the Horde, and that it's okay to do that. It doesn't have to mean that you are stuck being evil, and that Blizzard is failing your SJW ideals. Just because you want to strive towards being the next Green Jesus, doesn't mean that it makes sense for the Horde, or that it would be entertaining to see the Undead and Orcs gather around the fire and sing "Kumbaya". I honestly don't actually look at Sylvanas and the Horde as if they are evil. I feel like they have been dealt a difficult life and circumstances that make them complicated characters. The reasons that they do the things they do doesn't necessarily make them evil, it just means they take questionable actions that could be judged in a number of different ways.It would be nice if those in the Horde who are more concerned about breaking a finger nail than they are with putting the 'War" in Warcraft, could stand aside while Blizzard delivers an entertaining story with an intriguing experience, and instead you guys could maybe go back to playing Candy crush and sharing with your Facebook friends whatever Social Justice efforts that make you sound like a worldly and interesting person.FFS, it would be nice if we could listen to a story without you guys constantly being offended... It's so freaking annoying how confused the Horde has become over what the story of World of Warcraft is even about.
For the heaven's sake, when we'll kill this undead clown? She is Garrosh 2.0, but worse. She has no honour and very selfish. With her the Horde has lost traditions and their meanings of honour. In Siege of Lordaeron was no place for "Lok'tar ogar", only for coward escape. I'm tired of it. I miss older Horde with moral values.
I am tired of this "Horde is evil" argument from alliance players. They clearly show how naive and how they do not understand on theoretical level how a war is fought.Agressor=/=Evil.Agressor are merely those who attack those who got to that point first.I am tired to explain to this kind of....idiotic type of player so I will just say: I will enjoy killing you again and again and again and again untill I get bored. To the alliance players who have a dime of brain in their skulls and see that it is not black and white , I am sorry you have such players on your side.So , to refrain from unleashing my "Sha of Frustration and Anger" , I'll continue to explain what the brain dead (yes , I call ignorant players brain dead dont want to be called like that then dont be ignorant you cause me discomfort so it seems nice and polite to return the favor) dont understand.Sylvanas is sick of this constant conflict and she wants , once and for all , to make it hard for the Alliance and make them think very , very carefully when they want to bash the Horde again. If the Horde holds a continent there would be no conflict for a long time and allowing the Horde to grow without the danger of starving or running out of resources( Thrall knew he had to do this but because he's a pacifist and doesnt have the guts to do this for the Horde , he named Garrosh to do that and Garrosh delivered, Garrosh's problem was that he , which is why the Sha of Pride was the most powerful being fueled by him and everyone on both sides , was too proud of a orc and wanted a Horde made out of only orcs which was a reason to make him a villain in MoP , which again is not an evil reasoning what he did to get that was evil).I think I need to remember to some players that the game is called the World of WARcraft and in a War there is no evil and good.Army of the Light , the Horde and Alliance see the Burning Legion as evil because they are the agressors of their world they live in.Remember that we are told by the titans that the fel magic is corrupt and what we know about the Void was told to us by the Light.Yet the Light serves anyone who obeys.Scarlet Monastery Paladins hint , hint?We say the Void is evil because the Light told us so yet Alleria , Void Elves and Shadow Priests are doing the opposite what the Light told us the Void is.I think some of you understand where my point is going.Black and white would be what Dreadlords are doing which is manipulating (Remember that the Dreadlords are the demons that filled Sargeras mind with doubt , they are the demons who embraced the void with ease and can live with the Old Gods like it is nothing) someone in doing something ,under the illusion that it is their choice , that will damage its own kin.THAT is evil not straight out war.Not knowing you are manipulated into doing something you dont realize its bad is evil. Not going to war to secure your own kin's/allies future , that's not evil.By those standards , some alliance players uphold to the Horde , USA is pure @#$%ing evil.I know it is wrong to put it that way but I want to make sure you get what you are saying.Anyway , I can't wait for BFA.I am more excited than I ever was.P.S: Yes , I have characters on both sides.I do not mind playing either , I do mind when either side say is evil when they dont know what evil is.Yes, the Horde are the agressors in WoW but that does not make the Horde as a whole evil.Yes , the Undead existance is unnatural , yes it is wrong to kill on a whim to gain some soldiers , I agree with you. But then again I still vehemently oppose the view that it is black and white.
