Heres the thing. Karazhan isn't a "raid" anymore. Technically its not a 5 man group so its a raid, but skill wise it certainly is not a raid. All those badge items you got? Those are tier 5 and tier 6 quality epics. The tier 5 quality epics were implemented in 2007 around october-november time frame in patch 2.3. The Tier 6 quality epics were implemented a month-month and a half ago in 2.4.
All of those badge of justice pieces are better than karazhan. Karazhan is tier 4 level content. Karazhan gear was the "elite" gear well over a year ago, back in february march april of 2007. Ya know, after the expansion and when everyone was hitting level 70. You can't go into karazhan nowadays expecting to get really really good gear, simply because there are soooo many other raids that have better. Plus the badge gear, which you clearly have.
Honestly, karazhan is only a place where you go to gear up alt toons, or farm badges. Farming badges from heroics nowadays is a waste of time and a bad idea unless you can use the drops. Karazhan gear is better than heroic gear, so heroics are easier. But because karazhan is the most farmed instance in the game, it seems easier. Kara is worth 22 badges of justice, and can be cleared in 2-3 hours with a good group.
Basically what I am trying to say is you went into a "raid" that has been around for almost a year and a half now. Those epics are very obsolete now. The gear you have now? Yeah that hasn't always been around. If you didn't have all that gear and went into kara THEN you would of had your fun experience.
Like others suggested, try to get into a T5 content guild. I suggest going to wowjutsu.com and go to your particular realm. You will see the top guilds progress on your guild. Look for the guilds that are in the middle of tempest keep and serpentshrine cavern, or MAYBE starting mount hyjal or black temple. Do some research. go to google and google the name of the guild and your server and you will get the guild website 9 times out of 10. You will see if they are taking applications for holy pallys. You might just get lucky and get the experience you want. On some realms healers are in high demand.

"2017 Bonus Healing"
Bloody hell mate i started off-healing with 1 or 2 more healers at 1000 healing on my shaman for karazhan, then once i showed i was good enough it was just me and 1 other healer and we sailed through at me with 1400 healing lol
if youve done that many heroics your gear has probably surpassed Karazhan, its not the best gear in there, its an intro into raiding in TBC, its good fun in there though to be fair
Plus everyone has learnt kara now so its easy mode in a way, pugs go int here without major problems just few wipes here and there .

Arena is fun, but you will be mad at how squishy you are in arena. You don't have the crit suppression you get from PVP gear's resilience stats. PVP is a lot of fun to me. I have a 340 resil holy pally, and played 2v2 with a rogue friend of mine that has maybe 200 resil, playing against s2/s3 geared teams and winning just makes you happy. =)
You would be surprised how much longer you survive in AV with pvp gear. I recomend you wait till the 24th to start buying gear tho, if you decide to try it. Blizz anounced the new season, so buying Gladiator's gear VS Merciless Gladiator's gear in a week for the same cost would just be silly. Having a pvp set, and a pve set of gear is always a good thing. =)
For the record, with 2 out of 5 vengeful, merciless shield, and full vindicator's off set gear with all enchants but the gloves, and full S1(Gladiator's) for the remaining, I sit at 1704+healing with kings, and 1774 with Lowercity prayer book added to it with 25% crit rating on holy spells. The stam and resil are what make PVP survivable, so if you jump in arena with badge gear, don't expect to do tremendously well. You will be pretty squishy for a pally and those pvp geared teams will eat you alive with their crits. My disc/holy priest sits at almost 900+healing with 240 resil, and he can survive descently in cloth with the extremely low +healing.
You may get frustrated in arena. The other team will probably sick a warrior or rogue on you, and make it near impossible to heal while you are taking 1.5-2k crits every other swing, and a whole lot of spell damage.

You want the standard 41/20/10 spec. It's the best for a holy pally.
I would have to see your armory to give you tips on what gear to replace first. You basically want to replace any gear with low +stam on it first. So any gear with +heal/int only should be swapped first. Then you want anything without +spell crit, since that is your longevity in PVP, you can't potion in arena, so you need all the longevity you can get.
You could go for all the off set gear you can get with your points, and get the blue pvp set from the quartermasters. This will lower your +healing by a LOT, but imporve your survivability by a lot as well. It's really up to you. You want at least 2 pieces of set armor for the +35 resil bonus, but the Gladiator's 4 set VS the Battlegear's 4 set is way better. That holy shock bonus has saved me numerous times.

Yes, sorry for the typo. This is the pally spec. I always use this spec for PVP and even PVE.

Blessed Life does very little. 10% chance of half damage is next to nothing. The only benefit would be if it proc'd on a big crit from a warrior or mage, but it's not controllable.
First off, get your
Medallion of the Alliance
. It's a must. Gear wise, I have to look thru it, and I don't have free time atm. I will look at it when I get home tho. =)
