Oh, I almost forgot: Protection Paladin: Blah. About as useful as a Prot spec'd Warrior in PvP.
prot paladin does well against melee damage
prot warrior does well against... spell casting clothies with the shield spell reflect thingy...

The wonderful thing about all this, is that most people have come to accept, or truly do believe, that holy is the only pvp spec. Which is fantastic for me, because as a prot pally, I enter a bg, hide the priest, attempt to cast a small heal, and blam, instant aggro. It works.

Don't listen to anyone telling you that any spec is better or worse for pvp, if you know how to play to that spec's strengths then any spec with the appropriate gear will hold it own against an equivalently geared and skilled player.
my sister's priest is similar geared (in item level)
my protection paladin gets owned hands down
Personally, rekibution in bg's is the most fun I think I have ever had in WoW, just because the damage you can put out in a short timespan is astounding, and no one expects that hammer of the naaru to double swing, not to mention the posibility of SoC proc's on both.
